How to dye your hair blonde from dark. We leave the dusk: how to get rid of black hair after many years of dyeing with basma? My color change story step by step

Women strive to always look perfect, attractive, to charm men, first of all, with their shiny hair. A beautiful hairstyle, skillfully dyed hair - it cheers you up, relieves you of complexes that have arisen about your appearance. Stylists say: light brown is in fashion now, the palette of its shades is rich. How to create a new look so that the shade of hair suits you perfectly?

Who suits dark blond color

The choice of shade of light brown type depends on the color type of your appearance. Light-skinned (Summer or Winter color type) will suit cold shades of hair. What are the features of the summer type color type? If you have light, olive skin, through which the veins are visible, a pink blush on your cheeks, a warm range of curls will not decorate you. The winter color type of girls is distinguished by light, beige skin. The face is framed by beautiful, dark eyelashes and eyebrows. After tanning, the skin quickly acquires a glamorous olive hue. Cold shades of hair will beautifully shade gray, blue or green eyes.

Choosing shades of light brown

Previously, a fair-haired girl was considered a "simple". In the present tense, a natural light brown tone is stylish. It suits almost every woman, and a diverse range of shades and a special character allow you to emphasize your individuality. A palette of colors from Garnier, Vella, Londa will allow you to experiment with your hair. Judging by the reviews of women, coloring products from well-known manufacturers (for example, the use of the English brand Pallet) carefully give the hair the desired shade: light, pearl, wheat, platinum, mother-of-pearl.

Dark blond

If you have naturally natural dark hair, then you are lucky. Modern ladies hunt for such a shade among branded hair color lines. It is fashionable, natural and beautiful. To give the tone a silvery tint, apply a special shading balm to the hair. The dark blond tone itself is cold and saturated, but with the appropriate color type and correctly applied eye makeup, it makes its owner bright and extravagant.

light blond

The owners of the Spring and Summer color types are more suited to a light shade. Light skin, gray or blue eyes and light brown hair - and you are a refined, self-confident lady, as if from a picture. If you have a dark blond color, then pharmacy chamomile, saffron or lemon juice will help. A striking example of light blond hair is Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift.

ash blonde

Ash, although fashionable, is used in combination with other tones. Ash blonde and ash blonde embody beauty along with fair, olive skin. If you have an uneven complexion, there are age spots, then in the radiance of ashen curls these facial errors will be visible. And yet, the shade is considered glamorous, but it is not easy to achieve at home and maintain. Denise Richards, Hilary Duff are vivid feminine examples.

Light brown coloring does not always give the desired result: the shade may disappoint. Therefore, trust the professionals of the beauty salon or listen to our subsequent advice.

  • Eye and skin color are considered the main guidelines when choosing a tone tone. Fair-skinned girls will have a light blond shade to face, dark-skinned girls will not suit golden and honey tones.
  • Ash shade is the trump card of blondes and brunettes. The latter must be before staining.
  • Redheads need to choose a tone that is as close as possible to their own without discoloration.
  • "Dyed" red-haired beauties and girls with highlighting, coloring first need to get rid of the paint with a special acid wash, which is used several times. After this procedure, the hair is dyed in the desired shade.

  2. Mix paint ingredients according to instructions.
  3. Test your body's reaction to the components of the product by applying a small amount to your elbow.
  4. To keep the skin near the temples, on the frontal part of the head clean after applying paint to the strands, lubricate these places with regular cream or petroleum jelly.
  5. Start the staining process from the back of the head.
  6. First, paint the hair roots with a brush, then distribute the product along the entire length of the strands.
  7. The agent is applied for 25-30 minutes.
  8. After waiting for the specified time, wash off the paint with warm water and shampoo.

Photos before and after the procedure

How to freshen up the color?

Having decided to refresh the color of your hair, use special tint tonics or paints. As a result, you will be pleased with the appeared shine, and the hair will acquire an exquisite shade. If you want to not harm thin strands, opt for pharmacy chamomile. A decoction of the flowers of the plant, along with a few drops of lemon juice, will perfectly moisturize the hair along the entire length, give the light hair a playful golden hue.

Highlighting at home will occur due to the action of one component - lemon juice, if used for rinsing. Dark, chestnut hair color will correct the decoction of sage. As a result, your curls will acquire a brown tint, an irresistible radiance will appear. Do not drastically paint over your natural color with a different tone. A variety of shades of color scheme means allows you to choose the right one. The main thing here is the complete harmony of the shade of the hair and the image as a whole.

Watch the video where Roma Medny from the TV show will talk about all the intricacies of choosing the right shade.

Most women know how difficult it is sometimes to return curls to their native shade or give them a different color. For example, quite common questions are how to dye your hair from black to blond or to another tone. Often, you first have to apply a variety of washes, chemical compositions and mixtures that lead to a significant deterioration in the health of the hair.

Today we will talk about how to recolor curls in light shades with your own hands. We are sure that our instructions will be as useful as possible for you, even if you already have certain knowledge on the topic under discussion.

Priority is brown.

Most often, beautiful ladies are interested in how to dye black hair color brown, since it is this shade that can be obtained the easiest way. Yes, and it goes to almost everyone.

To receive it, you need to prepare:

  • appropriate paint;
  • clarifier;

Lightening. Sequencing

So, how to dye your hair from black to brown? First you need to seek the help of a brightener, which will help change the tone of your curls by three shades. Only after that you can use brown paint.

Note. Guaranteed, efficiently and effectively perform the entire procedure in a beauty salon. There, they will select the necessary shade for you, do everything possible to protect the curls from the negative effects of coloring compounds and other chemical mixtures.

Before starting the procedure, be sure to check if you have any allergic reactions to the selected clarifier or paint.

For this:

  • apply a little on the wrist or the inner crook of the elbow;
  • watch how your skin reacts;
  • if after forty minutes the skin does not change, does not turn red, itching or other negative manifestations do not appear, then the remedy is completely safe for you.
  • cover your shoulders with a towel or old handkerchief;
  • put on the gloves that come with the tool;
  • prepare the clarifier.

Note. Do not use metal utensils to dilute the clarifier and paint. Because the chemicals will react with the metal and the staining result will be unpredictable. For example, your curls will turn blue or green.

When the solution is ready:

  • take a brush and gently apply the mixture to the strands;
  • shift already processed hair to the side;
  • hold clarifiers exactly as much as indicated on the package with the mixture;
  • after it is over, rinse your hair well to wash off the clarifier well.

Make sure that water from your head does not get into your eyes, and if this cannot be avoided, then immediately rinse them with plenty of cool running water.

After washing your hair, treat your hair with a balm, which will allow you to immediately restore curls and nourish them with useful substances, trace elements and vitamins. It is recommended to hold the balm for at least seven minutes, and then dry your head.

Note. After lightening, the hair will have an uneven shade - it will be darker at the roots, and lighter at the tips. But there is no need to panic - it will all be fixed after applying the paint.

Coloring. Sequencing

Now let's take a closer look at how to dye your hair brown after lightening it.

The sequence of actions in this case will be as follows:

  • dilute the paint, strictly following the instructions in the box;
  • start applying it - first apply to lighter areas;
  • after ten minutes have passed, apply the mixture to other areas;
  • take a wooden comb with sparse teeth and comb through the hair to ensure that the mixture is distributed throughout the hair;
  • wait twenty to thirty minutes - depending on the thickness of your hair;
  • wash off the paint with plenty of water;
  • apply ;
  • after seven minutes, rinse off the balm and dry your head.

If you did everything right, you should get a nice brown shade, exactly the one you were aiming for.

How to get other shades

Now consider how to dye your hair from black to light or other shades. In principle, the sequence of actions will be approximately the same.

Although with some nuances regarding the lightening of the strands. Therefore, we will consider all the actions in detail.

Choosing a clarifier

So, if you want to recolor your hair in a chocolate color or another similar shade, you can’t do without a clarifier.

For example, you can take:

  • hydrogen peroxide;
  • or colorless henna.

However, after the first clarification with these means, your hair may acquire unexpected shades:

  • ginger;
  • yellow;
  • and even reddish.

This is due to the special interaction of pigments in the hair with the active formulations of brighteners. By the way, do not forget to use a balm that will restore the structure of the curls.

Long but safe

There is a good and safer way to dye your hair from black to chocolate without using bleach. Its only drawback is that you have to wait too long.

The essence of the method is as follows:

  • use the selected paint as the roots of the hair grow;
  • each time it is necessary to select a lighter tone;
  • in the end you will have an interesting, unusual gradient effect;
  • but you can get the tone you need not earlier than in six to seven months, or even in a year.

Natural washes

Surely, it is no longer a secret for you that all chemical brighteners and other compounds harm curls.

As a result, even after applying balms, they can become:

  • dry;
  • brittle;
  • dim.

To fully restore their health, you end up spending a lot of time, effort and money.

However, instead of chemical compositions, natural, natural clarifiers can be used.

For example, these are:

  • homemade kefir;
  • natural honey;
  • light quality beer.

Naturally, the result will have to wait too long, but you will be sure that your hair will maintain its health and beauty. In addition, natural clarifiers will nourish them with natural strength, vitamins and useful microelements of various types.

Quick results

However, representatives of the beautiful half of humanity do not always have time to slowly get rid of the annoying black color.

If you need to remove the tone you don’t like as quickly as possible, use special washes designed for this purpose. They are sold in shops and salons for professional hairdressers.

When using mixtures, remember that they:

  • extremely negatively affect the health of curls;
  • one application is often not enough for full clarification.

Therefore, be sure to weigh the pros and cons when deciding whether you are ready to risk the health of your curls. And if you still decide to use such a wash, carefully read the instructions and strictly follow it.

In conclusion

Now you know what color you can dye your black hair quickly and easily, even at home, without seeking help from a beauty salon, because the price of a master's services is sometimes unreasonably high. The additional video in this article will help you better understand and understand the principle of all the actions described above.

Hello Julia. If you used a vegetable dye - henna, basma, or a mixture of them for staining in a dark color, then when changing the color, the result can be unpredictable, and it is extremely difficult to return the light color and not every specialist will undertake such work. But if the hair was dyed with a chemical permanent dye, the situation can be corrected. Try Estel's Color off Acid Wash. It allows you to wash the artificial pigment from the hair, brightening them by 2 tones. The procedure can be repeated, achieving a lighter hair color, while not damaging their structure. And after the wash is completed, you can dye your hair with paint, evening out their color. But, in order to please you with the final result, it is better to contact a specialist.

DD! I am 26 years old, after giving birth, my hair began to turn gray. The natural color is almost black, dark brown or something. Dyed black, then mocha. Now I want it to be, the color is lighter, milk chocolate, but the color is natural.

Hello. Well, if you have already stopped GW. Then you can make an acid wash Color Off from Estel. It washes out the artificial pigment from the hair, allowing you to keep them healthy, while lightening the color by 2 tones. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendations for the use of the remover and the choice of paint color.
Another option for getting a lighter color is to wash off the pigment with a powder blonding composition.
In both cases, after the procedure, it will be necessary to stain with paint. It is better to choose a color after washing, because, for sure, all you have to do is adjust the shade.

The softest wash option is Color Off from Estel. One procedure will lift the hair color by 2 tones. When exiting black, you will need to repeat it at least 3-4 times. This can be done in one procedure without harm to the hair, but you will have to be patient and have a couple of packages with the composition. After washing, you will need to dye your hair to neutralize the yellow pigment. It is best if such a complex procedure is performed by an experienced colorist.

Hello! If the hair is natural and has not yet been dyed, you can raise the color by 2 tones by dyeing the hair with a brown permanent dye. If you have already dyed your hair, the artificial pigment can be washed gently and without damaging the hair with a professional acid wash: one procedure will help to get the color lighter by 2 tones. To restore the condition of the hair and facilitate the procedure of daily styling with an iron, you can use keratin hair straightening. After wellness procedures, it will be easier to grow length.

Hello. You can make the transition from a dark hair color to a lighter one without lightening if you previously used permanent dye for dyeing. You can wash the artificial pigment from the hair without damaging them with an acid wash. Depending on how light you want to get the result, you can repeat the procedure from one to several times in a row. After such a wash, you can dye your hair.

The best result is obtained when painting in rich brown tones.
Washing off henna is quite difficult. If the coloring is “fresh”, you can wash the color a little with the help of oil masks. If you have been painting for a long time, you can lighten the overall tone of your hair only with the help of a lightening powder. At the same time, the red henna pigment remains in the hair for a long time, it just becomes brighter (closer to an orange tint) and brightens with subsequent washes. After such procedures, you will have to restore your hair.

Hello, my natural hair color is black, I wanted to dye it to a lighter color. For example, the color of cappuccino or caramel. How can this be done at home. Thank you in advance.

If your hair is dyed black, only powder bleaching (blondoran). There are no other ways.

You can’t get out of black with a wash or a simple stain. I explain why:
washout
Washing will only help if you want to make chocolate out of black hair. But not fair-haired, and definitely not blond. Smvyka washes out black dye from the hair without harming them (contrary to the opinion that it spoils the hair). In most cases, the hair after washing acquires a bright red tint due to the fact that the paint is washed off, and there is a lot of red pigment in the hair. BUT the wash can be used as the first stage of clarification - to wash off the paint. Then you still need bleaching powder.
Dye
The dye cannot lighten dark-colored hair. She only adds a new color pigment to the hair, but cannot remove the old one, that is, lighten it. And when you dye your dark hair with a light color, it stays dark because dark paint still "sits" in the hair. The paint can only lighten natural undyed hair, and even then not much.

If you ask the hairdresser to make light brown or blond out of black hair - he can only offer powder bleaching - to remove the pigment from the hair. Most often, you have to do 2 discolorations so that the pigment in the hair does not remain at all. And only then you can dye your hair in the color you want.

My natural color is blonde. Hair is naturally weak, the master assessed their condition as unsatisfactory and warned that they might not withstand.

Stage 1. To wash the black pigment out of my hair, the master told me to wash my hair with an anti-dandruff shampoo (for example, Nizoral) for a week. It washes out the dye very strongly from the hair. Although you can make a wash.

Stage 2. Then the master bleached all my hair with a bleaching powder mixed with a 1.9% oxidizing agent. She wrapped each strand in foil. After bleaching my hair was orange
The powder and oxidizer were professional L "Oreal without ammonia.
Bleaching powder (blondor) can be mixed with oxidizing agents from 1.9% to 12%.
If the percentage is large (9 or 12%), the hair becomes discolored faster and more strongly, but at the same time it burns and deteriorates, plus it turns out to be more yellow.
If the percentage is small (1.9% or 3%), the hair is bleached less and longer, but does not “burn out” and is not severely damaged, plus very little yellowness is obtained.
Since my master took the smallest percentage, she wrapped each strand in foil to make the process go faster.
This is precisely what professionalism of the master: take the minimum % of the oxidizer and keep it on the hair longer to get a light shade with minimal redness.
Only in this way - by bleaching - can lightening by 5 or more tones be achieved. A simple wash cannot do this.

Stage 3. I had a blondor (bleaching powder) mixed in my hair again
with an oxidizing agent of 1.3%. The master again used foil on each strand. The hair is light yellow.

Stage 4. I was painted with purple-ash blond paint. Due to the purple color, the hair turned from yellow to ash-white.
It is very important that the paint is professional. Mass market in 50% of cases gives the wrong color that is needed.
Staining or toning is necessary after any discoloration. All color pigments are washed out of the hair, the scales are open and it is “empty”, easily breaks and falls off. Toning or dyeing fills the hair with pigment and closes the scales.
Tinting is the same as dyeing, but the dye does not contain ammonia and is mixed with the lowest oxide percentage of 1.9%. That is, the hair is once again not damaged by ammonia and high%, which is very important after bleaching.

All stages (except the first) were done in a row, it took 6 hours in total
My before and after photos

AFTER the transition to blond, the state of the hair is 3 minus, and only professional tools can put them in order. At a minimum, this is a restorative mask (from 600 rubles to 1500 rubles), silicone oil / serum for the tips that will constantly split (from 700 to 1500 rubles) - it “solders” the split ends. When straightening hair with an iron without professional thermal protection (from 700 rubles and above), the hair will simply fall off in a couple of months. I already wrote a post about my departure.
It will be possible to relax a little in a year or two, when the bleached hair grows back 2 times and is cut off.

Good afternoon, dear ladies!

For a very long time this time I gathered my thoughts in order to finally arrange all my experience in one big article-instruction. I wanted not to forget anything, step by step marking all my steps in the process of changing hair color, because it is long and laborious.
Getting out of black is always difficult, especially from a long-term one and obtained not by anything, but by herbal dyes. They are famous for their tenacity and capriciousness!

Today we will walk the path together from a busty brunette to a girl with copper-brown hair. What is especially nice - I did not lose a single centimeter of hair, although I was afraid to stay with a short haircut.
So...

If you are no longer tormented by the questions “How to achieve black with basma?”, “How to accumulate pigment and become a bright brunette?”. And you increasingly began to think: “Is it possible to wash off the basma and become lighter? Grow your natural hair or do a wash? How to get out of black with natural dyes? ”, Then there is a way out!

For a better understanding of the situation (what my hair was like, what and how many times it was dyed, their condition before the cardinal color change), I will make a short digression into the history of my experiments.

If at the age of 15-17 I dreamed of blond long curls and persistently achieved them, then the thoughts of black hair never visited me.
I did not try it on myself and was completely satisfied with red, brown and red hair. I liked fiery. Henna was used, the usual paint of shades "Mango", "Paprika", "Red Volcano".

I don't remember the reason for joining the brunette clan. If I don’t confuse anything, after a sore throat, a good part of my hair suddenly fell out. I made a rather short “Bob” haircut for me and decided to “give visual thickness” to my hair in a very non-trivial way - change the bright red hair color to a darker one, which, according to generally accepted opinion, can add volume to thin and sparse hair.
By the way, this trick really works! I am constantly asked how to achieve thickness and gloss of hair? How to make them thick and sleek at the tips? Girls, I have quite standard European hair. Probably, these are the tricks of black color and the specularity of henna and basma. It seems to you that I have a scythe with a fist! I'm sorry, but it's not like that!

This is how I was when I began to actively use basma.

In total, I was a brunette with natural dyes for 4 years. Hair pleased: bright, soft, elastic, very shiny, with good growth and without section. But the color itself did not evoke emotions.
I never wanted to be a brunette, although the image of a fatal beauty is spectacular and bright. Contrary to the generally accepted "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes!" increased attention from the male sex.
And still I had my doubts. Thoughts about changing the shade of hair regularly visited. But their quality completely suited me and constantly stopped me from experimenting. It was a pity. My hair is healthy, beautiful, what if I ruin it forever?

I repeatedly tried to splice basma, cut my hair short. The last such attempt was last summer. I almost decided on a short square. And she didn’t touch the basma anymore, she used only henna.

When I finally exhausted myself with the question “go out of black or, after all, stay in this color?”, gray hair began to pester.
Its number has increased. And painting over gray hair with the help of natural dyes, and even in a uniform dark color, is a very labor-intensive task! Long, hard and marco. There is always little time for yourself with small children.
In the hope that henna will eventually cover the basma and even out the border of flowers, I began to use it alone and deliberately painted the entire length with bright red varieties for 9 months (the entire period of pregnancy). But it was not there!
The top turned red-orange. And the length, as it was black, remained, acquired only a purple-pink hue. Nice, but not uniform.

However, the hair is pitiful. They are alive and soft. I didn't want to cut again. And after giving birth, in the spring I safely broke and 2 times painted them with pure basma. It turned out, of course, effectively. But after a week (haha!) I wanted to wash it all off!))

Further developments prevented me from headlong plunge into experiments fatal to hair. The language does not dare to say: “Thank God!”, Because for the next 2 spring months, the whole family was very sick, and with our youngest daughter we ended up in the hospital. But for the hair, all this was in some way a salvation. I'm sure if I had then decided to quickly get rid of the annoying black, I would now be sitting with the same damned "Bob".

At that moment, I was not at all up to the hair. I forgot the balm. Yes, and shampoo to use a special opportunity was not provided. In a hospital setting, with a sick, capricious 2-month-old baby in your arms, you won’t get wet very much. I quickly refreshed myself. A neat French braid has become my usual hairstyle. How timely! The ability to weave braids proved to be extremely useful.
I only washed my hair with shampoo. The color faded well. Affected almost a year on pure henna. I was no longer black, but dirty brown. All my spring basma was well washed off from the roots, remaining only on the main length of the hair.

Upon arrival home, I began to remove the pigment with alcohol-oil masks. I applied diluted alcohol to the length and immediately warm (just well warmed up, but tolerable in temperature) oil. I had avocado, mango and coconut. You can use any. Later, I also applied olive oil. I took fatter in the hope of thoroughly washing off the blackness. Although all, of course, will not wash off. Do not even hope for it if you have been painting for years! The pigment is already bound to keratin. But the color is very faded. So I made 6 or 7 masks. I was in no hurry. Its roots have already grown several cm and it all looked just “wonderful”.

After all the dances with a tambourine, I consulted with a master friend. She knows my hair very well. They refused to do the wash a year ago, at the time of the haircut. Argument: she won’t take herbal pigments, and spoil her hair in a rainbow washcloth. Reshino was to lighten up.
It is better to carry out the procedure on a small% of oxide. But we were afraid that my long-term blackness, especially from vegetable dyes, would not be lightened by 3% powder.
I used Estelle powder, brightening it 2 times with a break of several days by 6%.

Hair, naturally, became stiff and matte. They creaked right at the ends. At the roots, it became noticeably brighter, although I first applied the powder to darker areas and only later to the root area. This is because there is fresh keratin, less blackness and more henna. After the lightening treatment, I used Kapous low ph shampoo and conditioner.
A couple of days later I tinted my hair with Indola 8.44x Light Blonde Extra Copper. As you can see, it came out very bright, although not evenly.

My paint faded quickly. And there were spots. How upset I am!
I completely forgot that artificial pigment (and even more so red) is washed out instantly from bleached hair! And I was not ready to walk shabby after only 2-3 headwashes.

And this is where I made a mistake!

In the past, I have successfully combined regular paints and henna to maintain a vibrant shade. The dye washed off bleached hair much faster. Henna, on the other hand, was fixed tightly, although not as effectively as on natural hair. They looked less shiny, dull, but kept the shade quite tolerably. Thinking that I had nothing to lose and I would have to nourish my hair anyway after all the bullying, I decided to dye everything with henna and basma of an expensive Iranian variety for mehendi. Henna is very soft, when dispelled like a purchased mask-paste. She was not supposed to dry and tangle her hair. Basma was Moroccan with exactly the same fine grinding into dust.

I didn't want to be orange. But copper-chestnut or chocolate suited me completely. From experience, henna, along with basma, has always given me red hair in various variations. I needed a softer brown. Having chosen separate staining with herbs as the most optimal, I began the process. But I did not take into account the background of clarification! After henna, I turned out to be a bright yellow-orange. Immediately, without wasting time, she applied basma. And I almost howled from understanding my own stupidity! (((Blue to yellow will give me green! With horror, realizing what a mistake I made, I quickly began to unfold the turban on my head and wash the composition from my hair. Imagine how afraid I was to look in the mirror! )) And there were bright green, frog roots and red-chestnut length!)) I apologize for the unfoundedness, because I don’t have a photo of this charm. I then just burst into tears from annoyance. The eldest daughter reassured me: “Mommy, don’t cry! You are my most beautiful, even with green hair! Well, they are a little froglike, of course ... "That's it, the curtain!)))

Naturally, I didn’t dare to play more amateur performances and called my friend with a request to correct what I had done.
I screwed up quite a tolerable result! That was exactly the outcome. What I achieved with Indola 8.44x Light Blonde Extra Copper highlighting and toning after many years of basma was quite successful in principle. But now I had to get rid of the greens.

A darker tone and a red corrector are already needed here, otherwise the greens will constantly appear when washing. Got a different shade Indola Profession PCC 5.66X Light brown extra red at 3%.

Hair is visibly drier and thicker. The first week I was very upset. When washed, they stuck together into an impenetrable hard tangle. If earlier I could just wash them with shampoo and not always apply a balm, then after all these manipulations I began to need masks, strong protein balms and, of course, a combing spray. Of course, nowhere without indelible care! Nowhere without cream, fluid! Not a trace remains of the former elasticity.

Now, after some time has passed, I have returned to henna again. Not universally sold Iranian. She will dry my hair into a brittle dull broom. I have a lot of varietal portions for painting.

Henna is soft, fine, very easy to apply. Hair after moderately hard. The use of nourishing cosmetics, masks with oils, protective non-rinsing agents affects. But the hair keeps the color, voluminous, elastic and shiny. Hair without green. Certainly not the same color. But this, let's say, is the best thing that could have happened after basma, given my independent fuss (because I didn’t take a photo of all the packages with paints and powder, being afraid to mess around and be left without hair).

I don't use bass anymore. Perhaps for now. Too much bleached canvas. Too much effort to get out of the black. But 5 packages with Aroma-zone are carefully stored with me)))

Summing up, I would like to give advice and caution again:

1) if you are a changeable nature and do not tolerate monotony in your own appearance, do not stare at natural dyes!
Hair with them, with proper use and good quality of the herbs themselves, is very sleek, soft and healthy, but the change in color after them is a complete unpredictability, a risk, for the most part unjustified, based only on a strong desire to change. Hair deteriorates and deteriorates badly! The fact that I did not stay with a short haircut is the exception rather than the rule. And then, until this moment, for almost all 4 years, I only did what I tried to get away from black. I cut my hair, spliced, but again returned to basma, because she is incredibly resilient!

2) the color change hit my wallet. The reason is the deterioration of the quality of the hair. Heavy masks, balms, conditioners, creams, fluids again became my companions in care. For the last year, I could neglect all this without losing my hair in appearance.

3) the hair has lost a significant part of the pigment. Became light, thin, porous. Their structure is damaged.
Rigidity, brittleness appeared, fluffiness intensified. Along with the color, softness and elasticity are lost. Hair has to be saturated so that it does not break and looks decent. It is possible that I will adjust the length. I want a uniform, long lasting color. After henna and basma, you don’t have to dream about this.

However, I am satisfied with the results and do not consider them fatal for my hair. You can get away from bass. Let not in the ranks of blondes. But get chocolate. chestnut and even bright red is quite possible! The main thing is to realistically assess the condition of your own hair, all possible risks and act clearly, with an awareness of what you are doing, what and how.

I really hope that the information I have provided is of great use to you. This is not a guide to action, but just my experience, presented as a step-by-step instruction. Please keep in mind that we all have different hair and earlier experiments with color are not identical to each other. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee you a 100% successful result. But if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them!

Have a great day and great hair!

Do you dream of a radical change in the image, but are afraid to get an ugly result? Today we will tell you how hair coloring works from dark to light, and also give some important tips with which you can easily cope with the task.

Popular methods of reincarnation

To date, there are several ways by which you can dye your hair from a brunette to a blonde. Let's consider each of them.

Method 1. Lightening

If you decide to say goodbye to dark strands forever, try the gradual lightening procedure, the essence of which is the gradual application of a special brightener to your hair (allows you to lighten by 11 tones). This method is very harsh, so it is not suitable for owners of thin and damaged hair. And the rest of the girls are also better off choosing the softest possible composition - it retains the structure and natural shine of the hair.

The procedure of gradual clarification takes a lot of time - from one to several months. You can't speed up the process! The fact is that improper use of bleaching agents can greatly damage the condition of the hair and turn it into straw with split ends. To protect yourself from such troubles, select a clarifier based on the type of strands, their structure and shade.

Advice! If you are in doubt about your choice, seek the advice of a specialist. The procedure itself is also best done in the cabin. And one more thing - some ladies continue to lighten their hair with hydrogen peroxide, but this is absolutely impossible!

It should also be noted that there are compositions on sale with which you can radically change the image in just 2 sessions. However, such funds are incredibly aggressive - they will dry out and literally burn the strands. This option can only be used to lighten the tips (for example, for ombre). In extreme cases, they can always be cut off.

Method 2. Highlighting

To recolor the strands from dark to light, you can highlight. This is an ideal way to lighten hair - it passes gradually, does not harm the structure of the strands, and therefore can safely be called safe. After completing 2-3 sessions, you can apply any of the shades of blond.

Highlighting can be done both in a professional salon and at home - another important plus. To do this, you will need paint of the desired color, clarifier, brush, foil or a special hat with holes, a container for mixing the composition and a cape. If you wish, you can use a ready-made highlighting kit (they are often found in the Loreal line). And now the main secret - during each subsequent procedure, try to capture as many dark strands as possible. This will gradually lighten the entire hair, and then toned it in the desired shade.

Important! Remember, the highlighting procedure can not be carried out more than once a month.

Method 3. Staining

Lightening dark hair can be done with a special paint. Such a reincarnation should also be carried out in stages, using a lighter shade each time. To turn into a blonde, it is enough to spend about 5 sessions. You can do this procedure not only in the salon, but also with your own hands. For coloring, both persistent ammonia paints and gentle mousses are suitable.

Method 4. Washing or decapitation

Another popular way to transition from a dark shade to a light one is decapitation - a special procedure during which artificial dye is washed out of the hair. True, voids form in its places, so the hair looks thin and weak. Correct these nuances can correct care with the help of regenerating and nourishing cosmetics.

The wash is very effective, since in one session you can lighten 3-4 shades at once. Then the strands can be painted with any blond paint - the paint will lie evenly and give a very stylish tone.

Important! The wash will be useless for henna, basma and other herbal ingredients. It remains only to wait until the strands grow back! It should also be noted that in some cases, along with the artificial pigment, the natural one is also washed off. As a result, the hair becomes lifeless and completely colorless.

Can I apply the cleanser on my own? Of course. You can use both industrial and home remedies - beer, vegetable oil, kefir, chamomile or laundry soap. They can be used as masks and conditioners. Here are just a few recipes.

Tips on how to decapitate dark hair color:

Recipe number 1. chamomile

  1. Pour 200 ml of boiling water over 150 grams of dried chamomile flowers.

  5. Soak your hair with this composition.
  6. Build an insulating cap.

  3. Mix well and apply to strands.
  4. Build an insulating cap.

Important! The composition of store washes includes a number of dangerous and aggressive substances that harm the strands and destroy the structure. That is why when using them, you must strictly follow the instructions. As for folk remedies, they have a longer effect. In this case, the clarification process takes from 1 to 1.5 months. But the hair after using them becomes stronger, smoother and silkier.

It's important to know!

Method 5. Hair growth

If you have iron patience and are not in a hurry, try growing out your natural hair color. Of course, this method only works on blond hair, once dyed in a dark shade. And it is also the longest (takes a couple of years), but also the safest.

Advice! To speed up the process, regularly use simple home remedies (red pepper, black bread, sour cream, natural honey, etc.). They not only stimulate hair growth, but also significantly improve their condition. It will not be superfluous to drink a course of special vitamins and cut the colored ends once a month.

Method 6. Interesting painting

Owners of naturally dark hair are incredibly lucky - you can easily make a very fashionable coloring, in which the roots are dark and the hair is light. It is called or regrown blond. This technique has many advantages, but the main thing is that it does not affect the roots and does not require regular visits to the salon. In addition, with its help, you run the risk of being branded as the most fashionable and beautiful.

For those who decide to turn from a brunette to a blonde, we advise you to take note of a few important tips.

Tip 1. Do not rush with the result - this is a huge stress for the health of the hair. The optimal number of procedures for painting in a light tone is no more than 5 sessions.

Tip 2. Stain, wash or lighten only with good masters.

Tip 3. Hair coloring should be done with quality products from trusted manufacturers. When buying, which is best done in specialized stores, do not forget to check the expiration date. But cheap brands should be completely excluded. Believe me, after using them, you will spend much more money on restoring the hair structure.

Tip 4. Pay attention to the composition of your chosen dye. It is desirable that it includes extracts of medicinal plants, natural oils, UV filters and other useful components. The percentage of oxidizing agent contained in the paint is also important - the higher it is, the more likely it is that you will get the desired shade.

Tip 5. Before dyeing dark hair with light-colored paint, it is necessary to carry out a bleaching procedure. Otherwise, the paint will either not be taken, or it will lie in ugly spots. For clarification, powdered, oily or creamy formulations are used. The last two contain special substances that enhance the effect of the oxidizing agent several times. But when using powder products, there is a high risk of burning the scalp.

Tip 6. Before using any cosmetic preparations, you should test for the presence of an allergic reaction. To do this, apply a small amount of the finished composition on the skin of the wrist or elbow, wait 15 minutes and check the result. If during this time there is a burning sensation, irritation or redness, discard this remedy.

Tip 7. Having repainted your hair in light colors, be sure to buy shampoo, mask and balm for blonde hair. They contain special ingredients that protect the color from fading and washing out.

Tip 8. Do not forget to regularly stain growing roots (if the technology does not provide for the opposite effect).

Tip 9. To maintain the purity and brightness of the shade, periodically tint the strands with a silver or purple tonic.

Tip 10. When choosing a paint color, remember that it should be combined with your natural color type. The contrast between the hair and the shade of the eyes and skin looks just awful!

Important! After dyeing your hair from dark to light, take care of proper hair care. Masks of industrial and home production will help you with this.
