Volumetric strawberries using the kanzashi technique. Kanzashi hairpin “Strawberry” How to make strawberries from ribbons

Kanzashi technique involves the production of all kinds flowers from satin ribbons . But today we want to offer you a master class with an unusual, beautiful decoration from satin ribbons - a strawberry sprig with a flower and ripe berries, from which you can make a headband.

Materials:

  • satin ribbon of green, white and red, 5 cm wide;
  • decorative cord;
  • green fleece;
  • yellow beads and rhinestones;
  • decorative ladybug and stamens;
  • padding polyester;
  • hairpin;
  • green and yellow threads.

Tools:

  • heat gun;
  • lighter;
  • tweezers.

Kanzashi hairpin made of satin ribbons

First let's make White flower kanzashi. Cut five squares from the ribbon white, and process the cuts with a lighter.

Take a square and fold it in half. We bend the corners.

Fold it in half again - we get this triangle. We cut off a corner and set the cut on fire over the flame of a lighter.

Cut the other corner parallel to the fold.

We straighten the petal. And we singe each cut separately.

We got this strawberry flower petal. It is necessary to make four more similar petals. Try to keep them the same size.

Take a bunch of decorative stamens and straighten them out. Fold the stamens in half and tie them approximately in the middle.

We begin to collect the flower - using a heat gun, carefully glue the petals together.

We insert the stamens into the middle of the flower and fix them with a heat gun. Glue the last petals together - our flower is ready.

Strawberry in kanzashi style

For the berries, cut two strips of red ribbon, 7–8 cm long. We cut off the corners and singe the cut, we get a semicircle.

We sew “grains” - beads - onto the strawberry. Fold the piece in half and stitch the needle along the edge with the seam facing forward.

Turn the berry right side out. We fill it with padding polyester.

Pull the edge and secure the thread. We make the second strawberry in the same way.

Leaves from satin ribbon

Cut out three oblong leaves from green ribbon. And two squares with a side of 5 cm. We singe the sections.

One leaf and fold it in half. And then carefully hold the cut over the flame of the lighter and squeeze tightly. The result is the central vein of the leaf. We make the remaining veins.

We do the same for the remaining two leaves.

It remains to make the last details - the strawberry sepals. Take the green square. We sew it with the seam forward, needle as shown in the photo, so that we get a square inside a square. We do not fasten the thread yet. Cut a small hole in the center and singe it over the flame.

Using hot glue, glue a piece of decorative cord about 10 cm long. Place the square on the stem.

Gently pull the thread together and secure the sepal to the strawberry with a few stitches. Making the second berry.

Let's start assembling the strawberries - we will need two small pieces of felt. Hot glue the leaves onto one of the pieces.

Then berries and a flower.

Trim off the excess felt, giving it an oval shape. From the second piece of felt we cut out a similar oval.

DIY kanzashi hairpin

All that remains is to secure our strawberry to the hairpin; to do this, cut off a green ribbon about 1.5-2 cm long. Insert a piece of ribbon into the hairpin and secure it with hot glue.

In a piece of felt, make a slot equal in width to the size of the ribbon and insert the ends of the ribbon into the slot.

We bend the ends of the tape and glue them to the felt.

Glue the pieces of felt together and press them well.

Hairpins with voluminous berries can easily decorate a girl's hairstyle in the summer season. And if you pick up red or White dress, then it will be a sight for sore eyes.

To make a pair of hairpins you need:
- red ribbon 5 cm wide, cut 28 cm;
- green ribbon 3 cm 12 cm wide;
- rope with lurex 25 cm;
- yellow thread;
- felt base 2 pcs.;
- satin ribbon 2.5 wide white 1 m;
- yellow stamens 60 pcs;
- seaming lid or other with a diameter of 7 cm;
- green ribbon 4 cm 50 cm wide;
- padding polyester.

Berries.
For one berry you will need a piece of red tape 7 cm long. We apply the lid and draw it with a soldering iron or draw an outline with a pen. You need to get a semicircle, cut it out and secure the edge over the fire.

Now we take a thread with a needle and sew short stitches over the entire surface of the workpiece, simulating seeds.

Now we fold the workpiece in half and sew one edge, you should get a cone with a hole at the base.

We turn the workpiece inside out and fill it with padding polyester. Sew along the top edge with small stitches and tighten the part. A berry is formed.

Now, using a hoop, we cut out the sepals by eye.

You can cut it with scissors and secure all the cuts by quickly passing it through a candle flame.
We make a hole in the center of the sepal. We take a piece of string intended for the stem, thread it through the hole in the sepal and glue the string in the middle of the berry. Now we grease the top of the berry with glue and glue the sepals.

We do this for the remaining 3 berries. The berries must be connected to each other in pairs.
Leaves.
For the leaves, cut out 4 by 5 pieces from green satin ribbon, fold them in half and cut out an oval leaf according to the shape.
Next, we use scissors to form a leaf like the corresponding berry and secure it over the fire. We fold the leaf in half lengthwise, fix it with tweezers and make a vein, then fold it and make the side veins.

Flowers.
For the flower, you need to make round petals from pieces of white ribbon 2.5 by 2.5 cm.

To do this, fold the square diagonally, then in half again, hold it by the fold and turn the corners in the opposite direction, hold it with tweezers and secure the corner over the fire.

For each flower you need 6 petals, on each hairpin there are 3 flowers. As a result, the total number of petals is 36 pieces.
To assemble the flower, glue the leaves at the corner, before gluing the outer ones, insert a bunch of 10 stamens into the center and secure with glue.

How I long for summer already! I noticed that my works somehow spontaneously switched to a summer theme. Today I made a hairpin "Strawberry". In size, it is more like a Victoria strawberry - the size of the flower is 5 cm in diameter, and the height of the berries is 4 cm. But this is only because I used a ribbon 5 cm wide, and if you take a narrower ribbon, then the flowers are berries will be more miniature.

Material:

1. Red ribbon 5 cm wide - 20 cm per berry (accordingly, it took me 40 cm for 2 berries)

2. White ribbon 5 cm wide - 25 cm per 1 flower

3. Green ribbon for leaves

4. Yellow beads for the center of the flower

5. Glue gun

6. Candle and tweezers

7. Fastening (hairpin, elastic band, bandage or headband)

8. A small piece of green cord or hat elastic

9. Sintepon, cotton wool or other filler

10. White threads with a needle, and monofilament (or red threads)

Progress:

1. First I made the berries. I took 2 pieces of tape (for one berry). The length of each segment is equal to double the width of the tape, i.e. for me it is 5 cm by 10 cm. If you take a tape 4 cm wide, then the length of the segments will be 8 cm, respectively. In photo 2 I tried to show the stages of berry formation:

1) We apply one piece to another with the corners perpendicular to each other (inside out) and stitch it with thread as in the photo, rounding the corner. I took a white thread to make it easier to see, but it would be preferable that the thread match the color of the ribbon or monofilament. We do not cut the thread!!!

2) Bend the second end of the lower segment upward

3) Now we bend the second end of the other segment upward too

4) Holding the top 2 ends of the tape with the fingers of your left hand, we stitch it in the same way, rounding the corner, to the end.

2. Tighten the thread and fill the berry with cotton wool or padding polyester. We tighten it tighter. The result is a preparation of our berry

3. I figured out how to make sepals for a berry myself. I saw other options on the Internet, but mine seemed simpler and more convenient to me. Take a small piece of green tape about 1 cm wide and about 10 cm long. Solder it into a ring. We string the berries onto a thread and tighten them around the top of the berry, grabbing the green frill and the red “tail” of the berry with the thread (if necessary, this red “tail” can be trimmed so that it does not stick out from the sepals). When sewing, do not forget to insert the tip of the stem - the lace. You can also glue it to be sure.

4. For the flower we take 5 squares of ribbon, for me it is 5 cm by 5 cm. Photo 4 shows the stages of formation of the petals and flower.

1) Bend the square diagonally, then bend 2 corners down to the third, central corner and bend the resulting workpiece in half (away from ourselves).

2) Holding the workpiece with tweezers, solder the lower part above the candle so that it sticks together into one whole. We squeeze the petal, as if flattening it, so that the soldered seam lies exactly in the middle. Drop a drop of glue into the resulting “pocket” and press it with your fingers. We make 5 such flat petals.

3) Trying on the petals

4) Glue leaves onto a circle of ribbon or felt (they can be made from ribbons of different widths), you can simply add green loops, then glue stems with berries, and then add petals, forming a flower. Place a drop of glue in the middle of the flower and sprinkle it with yellow beads. Shake off excess beads that are not stuck. You can glue a yellow half-bead or even a button (whoever has what). The photo shows what the result is.

5. Using white thread, we make small chaotic stitches on the berries, imitating seeds. This stage of work can be done, and even better, earlier, when the berry itself was made. The idea to make seeds with thread came to me later, so I embroidered them at the end of the work. Initially I wanted to draw, but I didn’t have fabric paint on hand.

6. Glue the mount from the inside out and...voila! Inhale the aroma of strawberry meadow.

Good luck and inspiration to you.
