Work rules
To prepare your hair for work, you need to wash it and dry it well. Then use a comb to lay in the direction of growth.

- The machine only works with dry hair.

After the completion of the main haircut, edging is performed. It is done with the upside down side of the device without a nozzle. The desired geometry of the edging is made using the teeth of the machine.
Advice. Do not forget to periodically shake the device from the accumulated hair, so as not to interfere with the haircut.
The simplest haircut in one length
If you are holding a typewriter in your hands for the first time, start with the simplest men's haircut. To do this, you need to install the necessary nozzle with the selected cut length and gently draw over the head, processing all zones in turn. First, we cut the back of the head, then the temples, and finally, the frontal part of the head.
Advice. For the first experience with the machine, select the nozzle with the longest length (for example, number 11). If you screw something up, you will have the opportunity to fix it.
Haircut with a transition to different lengths
The machine haircut technique assumes that the following conditions are met:
- You need to start work from the back of the head, smoothly moving from the temple to the parietal zone. The more area you cover in one movement, the more beautiful the hairstyle will look. For a haircut, we take a nozzle with a number of 9 mm.
Advice. To gently remove the hair in the temple area, work slowly and carefully observe the direction of growth. In this part of the head, they grow in different directions.
- Nozzle number 11 or 12 remove the hair of the interior. To make the transition from one length to another smooth, slightly raise the blade, without pressing it tightly against the scalp.
- After processing the bulk of the hair, the nozzle should be replaced with a smaller one and the area of the temples and the back of the head should be processed again, forming a short cut of the edging.
Important! Do not change the angle of the machine during the cutting process.
Haircut Box
Haircuts Boxing and Poluboks are considered very stylish, although they belong to the sports category of hairstyles. They are perfectly combined with different styles of clothing, which shows their versatility. This hairstyle suitable for hair of any structure and density. However, the shape of the skull for this haircut should have perfect outlines, because the hairstyle reveals all the defects.
To work, you need a machine with nozzles numbered 3 and 1.
- The interior is cleaned with “under the fingers” technique.
- The temporo-occipital region can be cut down to the frontal part if desired.
- The transition line from one length to another can be corrected with scissors.
- The bangs are cut either obliquely or at a height of 2-3 cm from the eyebrow line.
To get a half box, you need to shoot the interior with a nozzle with number 4. Also, various variations are allowed with respect to the bangs. If you remove all the hair with a machine, except for the bangs, you get a bangs haircut.
Hedgehog haircut
At first glance, the Hedgehog may resemble a Boxing haircut, however, there is a fundamental difference. If Boxing has a transition between different length stands out in contrast, then the Hedgehog is made out with a smooth transition from long to short hair. This type of hairstyle is suitable only for thick dense hair.
- First, long hair is removed “on the fingers” in the crown area, leaving the length within 4 centimeters.
- Then a styling agent (gel or wax) is applied to the hair and fixed with a hair dryer in an upright position.
- The bangs are combed in the direction of the crown and fixed with a stream of air.
- The temporo-occipital region is processed with a machine to the line of the dividing zone. The transition from the interior to the exterior is made by overlapping the strips: we slightly capture part of the treated surface with the untreated one together.
- The edging in the neck area is either nullified or a minimum of hair is left.
Advice. We gradually reduce the length from 4 cm in the interior area to one centimeter in the back of the head, regularly checking the quality of the haircut with a hair dryer.
Zero haircut
Universal haircut for all occasions. Suitable for men with regular facial features, strong-willed chin and beautiful shape skulls. In cases of rapid hair loss, this type of hairstyle is literally a way out. To work, you will need a machine with nozzle number one, as well as a safety razor and a comb.
- Remove long hair with scissors.
- First, we shave the occipital-temporal part with a machine in three directions: vertical, horizontal and diagonal.
- Finally, we correct the haircut with a safety razor.
How not to leave a bald patch?
Now haircuts with a pattern that is cut with scissors or a typewriter have become fashionable. Looks beautiful!
However, with careless operation of the machine, you can accidentally leave a bald patch on your hair. This can happen if you:
- badly combed before a haircut;
- wet hair and do not dry;
- did not wash their hair before work;
- tried to make a pattern on the hair with a nozzle.
Poorly combed hair can clog the blades of the nozzle, which will provoke the formation of a bald patch or cause pain (the machine will tear the hair).
On wet hair, a haircut is not carried out with a machine. The blades dull quickly, and this is fraught with various surprises during work.
If you do not wash your hair before cutting, then sebum will clog the blades, respectively, troubles cannot be avoided.
It is better not to make a pattern on a hairstyle at home. The consequences of such an experiment will have to be removed with a haircut to zero.
