Soft toy manufacturing technology.

1.Lay out the patterns on fabric (so there is less waste) and trace with soap. We will need: torso - 2 parts (from dark fleece), head - 2 parts (from dark fleece), leg - 4 parts (from dark fleece), palm - 4 parts (from dark fleece), ear - 2 parts (from dark fleece). fleece) and 2 parts (from light fleece), horns - 4 parts (from light fleece). REMEMBER! Paired parts must be outlined in a mirror!!!

2.Before starting work, you need to remember safety precautions when working with scissors.

3.Cut out the parts of the soft toy along the contour of the fabric, without seam allowances, since the allowances are already included in the pattern.

4. Since we are starting to work with needles and pins, it is necessary to remember safety precautions when working with needles and pins.

5. We begin to sew the paired parts of the soft toy, using an over-the-edge seam or a loop seam.

6. Turn the sewn parts right side out and stuff them with padding polyester. First, we connect the head to the body with a hidden seam. Next we sew the horns onto the head and ears. We connect the palms with the cord and then sew the finished “arms” with hidden stitches to the body, at chest level. We connect the legs with a cord and then sew the finished “legs” to the body with hidden stitches. We decorate the deer's face - glue on the eyes and embroider the nostrils with a double seam. You can also decorate the deer’s belly with a small tummy, in the form of a circle of a different color.

7. The soft toy "New Year's deer" is ready!!!

Which you will see below, you will definitely like. For beginners, there are simpler options, consisting of two identical parts or even made without threads, but using the applique technique. In short, everyone will find a suitable idea for themselves.

Souvenir options

Felt can be either flat or voluminous, like soft toys.

Funny figures can be used as the following New Year's souvenirs:

  • interior decorations;
  • Christmas tree decorations;
  • magnet;
  • keychain;
  • gift packaging;
  • an ordinary children's soft toy;
  • element of any decor.

As you can see, there may be several options. Even children can make simple felt products, such as magnets or deer-shaped keychains.

How to sew a deer

In order for you to get a beautiful and neat felt deer, the pattern must be chosen correctly. The template should be selected in accordance with the experience and level of training of the needlewoman. For beginners, options consisting of a minimum number of parts and, accordingly, seams are suitable. When you have mastered simple souvenirs, you can move on to more complex products, voluminous soft toys, which are sewn from more parts.

The general sequence of work will be as follows:

  1. Cut out a template from paper that you can print from the Internet or draw yourself.
  2. Place the parts on scraps of felt, pin them in place, and trace the outlines with chalk. If necessary, add allowances and cut out elements.
  3. Baste or immediately sew carefully by hand or on a machine all the necessary parts. Felt is good because it does not require processing of cuts, as it does not crumble, so you can even sew elements along the front side.
  4. Turn the stitched parts inside out if you stitched from the inside out. If you worked on the front side, skip this step.
  5. Fill the finished product or individual blanks (depending on the complexity of the object) with holofiber or other prepared material.
  6. Sew up the holes that were left for stuffing.
  7. Combine all the parts into one object.
  8. Sew or glue small decor (ears, eyes).

All is ready.

Materials and tools

You will need the following to make a beautiful New Year's deer:

  • pattern;
  • pins;
  • felt;
  • scissors;
  • threads;
  • needle;
  • sewing machine;
  • filler (holofiber, cotton wool, padding polyester);
  • glue;
  • any additional decor (beads, ribbons, bows, sequins).

If you make magnets, you will need a base (magnetic strip), for a keychain - a chain, braid or ribbon.

Felt deer: pattern for applique

Below are options for simple products. Using them, even a beginner will get a beautiful New Year’s deer. The pattern in this case should consist of one, or at most a couple of parts that will have to be sewn together. You can simply glue small elements onto the base. Using these templates it is easy to make a magnet, a keychain, a Christmas tree or just an interior decoration.

The first option looks more realistic, and the second template looks like the face of a simplified cartoon character. The horns and ears of these figures can be made flat or voluminous by sewing them to the base. Even easier is to complete the entire form as a single whole.

Using these templates it is easy to sew a decoration for gift wrapping or use the same principle to make a magnet or keychain. For double-sided items, you will need to make two identical parts so that the threads used to sew small elements are not visible on the reverse side. If the eyes and muzzle are glued, one head blank is enough.

Pattern of a deer toy

Below is a diagram according to which you can sew a three-dimensional figurine of a character, but this is a more complicated option. It is best performed by a person with experience. The first diagram shows a template. You can use it to decorate a wreath or simply make a souvenir of this shape.

To create such a voluminous toy, you will need to cut out the following elements:

  • ears - 4 pieces (two blanks Brown, two - pink);
  • horns - 4 pieces (a pair per horn);
  • head - 2 parts;
  • nose - 1 piece.

All elements are sewn inside out. Be sure to leave a hole for filling. Before turning, it is worth making neat cuts in places of complex shape transitions, so that later the parts have a smooth surface. If you don't want to complicate the work, felt is easy to sew on the front side (even if we're talking about about a complex product), but the seams must be made neat and even.

The following pattern allows you to create a full-fledged toy in a simple way. The head can be made flat or sewn from two identical parts. The torso is also performed in the same way.

So, you have seen how a felt deer is made. The soft toy pattern, applique template and any of the presented options deserve attention and can be used as an idea for creating New Year's gift. Choose, sew, craft. Create beautiful souvenirs with your own hands.

Tilde toys have firmly occupied a niche among women's domestic hobbies. Now every needlewoman must have a craft in this style, be it a doll or an animal. We invite you to make a tilda deer toy. A master class on sewing such fawns requires the presence of bright and colorful fabric, preferably with patterns and floral prints.

Cute deer tilde

Master class describing how to sew a tilde deer:

  1. The toy pattern consists of five parts: body, legs, horns, ear and nose. Cut out all the elements from the paper pattern.
  2. Fold the fabric in half, attach a paper pattern and cut out the required number of parts. As a result, you should have two body parts, eight legs, one nose, two horns and four ears. To make the toy more interesting, choose brightly colored fabric with a pattern for the nose, ears and horns.
  3. Sew two parts of the ears together.
  4. Connect the two parts of the body and place the finished ears in the right place on top between them. Sew the pieces together, leaving a small opening. Turn out the part of the toy.
  5. Sew the two horn pieces together.
  6. Sew the four leg pieces together in pairs.
  7. Fill the antlers, body and legs with stuffing and sew up the holes.
  8. Sew a nose on the body, and sew horns on the top of the head.
  9. Sew the legs to the body with large stitches to create a cross on the front side.
  10. For decoration, you can sew a heart on the toy.
  11. Embroider the eyes with black thread.

Christmas Reindeer

The New Year's tilde deer differs from an ordinary toy in two details - a checkered ribbon with a bell and a red nose.

The instructions will tell you how to make a toy deer:

  1. Cut out all the pattern pieces and transfer them to the fabric. As a result, you should have two pieces of each element, and only one circle for the nose.
  2. Sew all the parts except the ears in pairs, leaving small holes.
  3. Turn out all the parts and push the filler inside using a wooden stick or pencil.
  4. Distribute the filler evenly over the entire part so that there are no lumps or bulges. As a result, you should end up with a slightly voluminous toy. Therefore, the filler layer should be a couple of centimeters, no more.
  5. Sew the hooves to the legs.
  6. Sew all other holes with a blind stitch.
  7. Sew all the parts of the toy together. As a result, you should end up with a deer like the one in the picture above.
  8. Connect the ears at the bottom and sew them to the head.
  9. Make a nose. To do this, put a little filler in the middle of the circle and pull the edges together using a needle and thread. After this, sew the ball to the muzzle.
  10. Embroider a mouth with red floss thread and make eyes using black beads.
  11. Under the muzzle, sew a bow with a bell made from a wide ribbon in a red and green check.

Tilda deer: life-size pattern

If you want to make a larger tilde toy, you will need to draw a pattern on a large sheet of paper. The number of parts from which the deer will be sewn is as follows:

  • two parts of the body with a head;
  • four parts of the front legs;
  • four parts of the hind legs;
  • four parts of ears.

The master class describes step by step how to make a tilde toy:

  1. Cut out all the details of the future toy from the fabric.
  2. Then sew the pieces together in pairs. On the paper pattern, dotted lines indicate the places where the elements will be sewn together. So leave holes there.
  3. Turn out all the parts and stuff the filler inside. The finished toy must be stable, so apply padding polyester or other material tightly. Special attention focus on the legs and torso. Stuff a small layer of stuffing into the ears.
  4. Sew the ears and legs to the body.
  5. Take twigs and sew or glue them to the head instead of horns.
  6. Sew on black eye beads and use a marker or thread to make a nose and mouth. Use cosmetic blush to paint your cheeks.
  7. The neck of the tilde deer can be decorated with a ribbon, and its ends can be tied into a bow.

The craft is ready!

Fawn Girl

Description of how to make a girl fawn:

  1. Cut out two parts for the head, muzzle and four ears from beige or brown fabric.
  2. From the patterned scrap, cut out two body parts with arms and legs.
  3. Sew the head and body parts together in pairs, leaving holes at the bottom and top, respectively.
  4. Sew the ear pieces together in pairs.
  5. Sew the muzzle triangles together, leaving the bottom unsewn.
  6. Turn out all the parts.
  7. Place the filler inside the body and head. There are many corners in the part, so use wooden stick so that the padding polyester or cotton wool is placed evenly throughout the toy.
  8. Sew the head and body together.
  9. Sew on the muzzle, having previously placed a little filler under the part.
  10. Sew on the ears.
  11. Cut a circle out of colored fabric. Fold it in half twice and cut off the top. As a result, you should end up with a circle with a hole in the center. This will be a skirt.
  12. Place the skirt on the toy and sew it on. To hide the seam, you can tie a ribbon like a belt.
  13. Draw eyes and a nose, make horns, sew on beads and buttons.

The deer girl is ready!

Simple tilde deer

This toy is very easy to make, but it looks beautiful and can decorate a room. To create it, you will need to cut out two identical body parts with a head and legs from fabric, and one solid horn from felt or felt.

Then simply sew the two parts of the toy together and stuff more stuffing inside. Sew on the horns using a decorative button. Tie it around your neck beautiful ribbon or lace.

This is how easy it is to make a wonderful tilde toy.

  1. To make your craft look like a tilde, choose fabric in bright colors.
  2. It is not necessary to make the entire toy from one fabric. You can choose a brown or beige shade for the body and legs, and make the ears and horns from scraps with a floral or abstract pattern.
  3. If the legs come as a separate part of the pattern, and are not sewn together with the body, then the joints can be played up in an original way. For example, sew large beautiful buttons or ribbons on top (see picture above).
  4. The tilde deer can also be sewn from plain fabric. Then complement the toy with interesting decor or an accessory (for example, a ribbon with a bell).
  5. If you have a pattern for a tilde toy standing on four legs (a bunny, a cat, a sheep), it can also be used to sew a deer. Just change the shape of the ears and add horns.
