How to do makeup correctly for those with green eyes: life hacks. Gold eye makeup: a solid accessory to any outfit Light sparkly gold-pink makeup looks

Makeup with golden shadows will suit many ladies for almost any occasion, becoming a chic addition to an elegant outfit. It perfectly complements clothes of almost any color: a brown suit, green dress, beige blouse will suit perfectly, but it looks especially attractive with a black or red evening dress. Gold makeup will make your eyes appear a little more open and make them shine. It is similar to jewelry and actually performs the same functions - it gives a luxurious, rich shine, personality and unique charm. Such shadows get along perfectly with various decorations and other colors. You can apply a thin layer of golden makeup over another color.

Golden eye makeup will suit almost every woman, emphasizing the natural beauty of the eyes and highlighting their color. Brown eyes will become even warmer and richer, gray ones will look truly noble, the depth and icy shine of blue and blue eyes will increase, and green eyes will shine with precious emerald.

But there are also exceptions.

Golden makeup can draw attention to wrinkles around the eyes and make them look older, so mature women need to be more careful.

This can also be reflected in the photograph. Experts believe that shiny golden makeup can enhance the effect of drooping eyelids, so ladies with this feature should avoid such glitter eyeshadows. A particularly unpleasant result can occur with asymmetrically drooping eyelids. Otherwise, this color is universal and suitable in any situation. It can be used for a business meeting, for a reception, for a romantic date, for going to the theater, or just for a walk or to work. There is an opinion that glitter diminishes the eyes and obscures their shine, making them dull. This is not true, it's all about incorrect application of cosmetics.

How to do makeup

One of the rules of makeup is that you need to highlight either your eyes or your lips. To focus on the lips, the makeup of the eyes and the rest of the face should be unobtrusive and dim. You need to apply a subtle blush and even out the skin color, add a thin layer of golden eye shadow and apply mascara, curling your eyelashes slightly if desired. A bright, best red lipstick will make your lips the centerpiece of your gorgeous look.

To emphasize the eyes, lipstick should be soft, preferably in natural tones. You need to disguise skin defects with foundation and apply blush. Here the shadows should be bright and expressive, the eyes should be edged with eyeliner, the eyelashes should be fluffed and mascara should be applied, preferably lengthening. The finishing touch will be the soft shine of natural tones.

You can combine such shadows with brown ones. You need to cover the moving part of the upper eyelid with golden shadows and apply a thin strip of shadows along the lower rim of the eyes. Brown shadows are applied obliquely to the outer corner of the eye, maintaining the angle of inclination. With eyeliner and arrows you will get a romantic, delicate look.

During the day, nude makeup is ideal, that is, almost transparent, barely noticeable, unobtrusive. Natural makeup gives the face freshness and attractiveness, emphasizing a healthy and radiant skin color. When creating it, you need to combine golden shadows with shadows of natural tones, brown eyeliner, peach or bronze powder. These glittery eyeshadows pair perfectly with other tones that highlight the shape of your eyes. To further open the eyes, light shadows are applied to the inner corner of the eyelid.

At the same time, the eyes visually move away from each other, which gives the face additional attractiveness. Dark shades are best applied to the outer corner of the eyes. You can use glitter shadows solo, applying them in a barely noticeable layer and blending them. If you want to draw attention to your eyes, you can apply gold makeup in a thicker layer, it will still look natural, like an elegant gold jewelry.

Evening gold makeup is characterized by an abundance of glitter, igniting the look and shining in the festive light. For this type of makeup, golden shadows are always complemented with other shades. Dark gray, deep brown and black colors are suitable, sometimes blue or green are used. To give a glamorous look, a transparent layer of pink is applied to the golden eyeshadow, it looks festive and attracts attention.

How to choose lipstick color

For daytime makeup, lipstick in delicate pastel colors is suitable: pink, beige, light brown, natural in tone. However, for makeup like Chanel, they use not particularly bright red lipstick.

For evening makeup, if you want to focus on the eyes, choose lipstick in soft natural tones. This lipstick will harmoniously combine with gold eyelids and jewelry and will slightly smooth out the color-saturated look. A lipstick that goes well with an additional eyeshadow color is suitable for a combined eyelid design. If golden shadows are applied in combination with green, choose peach-colored lipstick; lilac or purple lipstick goes well with purple shadows. Red lipstick does not go well with this type of makeup; it will give you a vulgar or unhealthy look. However, some makeup artists also recommend red lipstick for golden evening makeup in a retro spirit.

Golden eye makeup: a solid accessory to any outfit

Gold eyeshadow is very versatile, suitable for most occasions. They give the eyes a shine and visually open them up slightly. With gold eye shadow you can enrich the color of any other eye shadow - to do this you need to apply a little “gold” on top of the main color. The main advantage of golden eyeshadow is the ability to do makeup that will become a “solid accessory.” Women tend to decorate themselves with jewelry. Golden eye makeup can play the same role as jewelry. Makeup with golden shadows goes perfectly with a luxurious evening dress, especially black and red. It can complement other gold accessories or be the only piece of jewelry.

Gold makeup goes well not only with black and red, but also with green, beige and brown clothes. Although such make-up can be “worn” with outfits of any other color, because gold is neutral and universal.

Who suits gold eyeshadow?

What eye color suits golden eyeshadow? Absolutely anyone! Gold on the eyelids will highlight the blue of the eyes, making their color deeper and cooler. It will give a noble shade to gray eyes. If your eyes are brown or golden, shadows will highlight and enhance their warmth. The combination of green and gold is always successful: with gold shadows, green eyes look like precious stones in an expensive frame.

However, this doesn't mean that gold eyeshadow doesn't have its limitations. Makeup artists warn: gold in makeup is the choice for the young. The fact is that golden shadows can emphasize wrinkles around the eyes. Therefore, women 45+ should use them with caution, especially if they plan to be photographed. Golden eye makeup can add several years to a woman in a photo.

There are no other restrictions. Golden eye shadow can be used for both daytime and evening makeup. That is, you can wear “gold” on your eyelids both to the office and to the club.

Daytime makeup with golden shadows

Gold or bronze shadows are used to create so-called nude makeup (“nude” means “naked”, “transparent”). This makeup is ideal for daytime. A woman's face looks fresh and attractive, and most importantly - natural. It shines with a healthy shine and purity.

When creating nude makeup, golden eye shadow is usually combined with brown eyeliner, light brown or beige eye shadow and bronze or peach powder.

In general, golden shadows are rarely used “alone”. As a rule, they are combined with darker ones, through which the shape of the eye is formed. Accordingly, dark shadows are applied to the outer corner. Light (white or cream) shadows for the inner corner can also be used - this visually opens the eyes and moves them away from each other, which makes the face more attractive.

But if you wish, you can use only golden shadows for daytime makeup, without complementing them with others. They are either shaded, leaving only a faint hint, or, conversely, applied thickly, placing emphasis on gold.

For evening makeup, golden shadows must be combined with others. They can be combined with black, dark gray or dark brown eye shadow and dark eyeliner. With this set of tools they create "golden smokey eye".

Gold can also be combined with colored shadows - especially green and blue.

You can apply a little pink on top of the applied gold shadows - this will make the gold makeup more “sweet”, “caramel”.

Gold eye shadow and lipstick color

If this is nude daytime makeup, it is better to choose the appropriate lipstick (in nude style): beige, pale pink or exactly the same lip color.

If this is classic daytime makeup in the spirit of Chanel, you can use red lipstick.

For evening “golden smokey eye” makeup, it is better to choose a nude lipstick - it neutralizes the darkness and richness of the makeup.

For colored evening makeup, in which gold is adjacent to one of the colors of the rainbow, lipstick should be chosen depending on the neighboring color. So, if gold is in a duet with purple, you can apply purple lipstick to your lips. If your eyes are green and gold, you can opt for peach lipstick. Red lipstick is not suitable for smokey eye makeup and colored makeup - the face with this combination can look flashy, rough or even painful. An exception to this rule is retro style makeup.

Makeup with gold: stylish and unusual

A very bold choice for confident ladies who are used to attracting attention - makeup with gold. Its uniqueness is that it suits almost all women, and its peculiarity is that such makeup emphasizes skin imperfections and makes wrinkles more noticeable. Therefore, ladies of Balzac's age need to be very scrupulous when choosing such spectacular and bright makeup.

If you harmoniously combine shades of cosmetics, then golden makeup st This is an excellent addition to a sophisticated evening outfit.

Who suits golden shades?

Golden shades look especially chic on brunettes with dark skin tones. Dark-haired girls can use the brightest shades of gold, and the hair color is emphasized very favorably.

Blondes are less fortunate in this regard, because golden-hued cosmetics will emphasize pale, transparent skin and there is a risk of looking ridiculous.

Gold makeup is suitable for special occasions: evening outings, parties, social events, but as an office option it is completely inappropriate.

Reflections of gold shine on lips, eyes, cheeks, decorate nails and sparkle in lotions all over the body. A girl just needs to choose the right shade to attract the attention of others and stand out among the rest. And one more important detail - it is unacceptable to use more than two golden-colored details in makeup. Golden shadows and the same lipstick, eyeliner and golden lip gloss go perfectly together. Manicure polish is allowed as a third additional element.

Gold for eyelids

If the emphasis is on the eyes, you should play with golden shadows. Golden highlights will add sparkle to your eyes and allow you to play with brightness to create the best effect. Shadows can be of different textures and consistencies.

To create an expressive look with wide eyes, it is first better to apply matte shadows to the eyelid. Outline the border between the eyelid and the sub-brow area with dark shadows, shade them thoroughly, and only then cover the eyelid with golden shadows. To highlight your eyes, you should apply a thin black line along the roots of your eyelashes. If you are afraid of going overboard with glitter, you should try using gold eyeliner, applying it in a thin line.

Gold for lips

Gold lipstick or gloss will add attractiveness and sensuality to your lips. The delicate shimmer of gold can be achieved using glitter with microscopic gold particles. If the emphasis of the make-up is on the lips, then bright lipstick with a rich shine will come in handy.

It will create a gilded effect on your lips; you can emphasize it with a contour pencil in a honey or beige shade.

Lips look very impressive if the center is painted with gold lipstick, and the edges of the lips are painted with bright lipstick of a different color. The option also looks impressive when the edges are painted with pink or nude lipstick.

Stylish examples of golden lip makeup can be seen in the photo.

Gold on the skin

The final touch to evening makeup can be the skin on your face shimmering with a soft golden sheen. To do this, you can use special powder or blush. Due to radiance, you can reduce some areas of the face by combining them with darker problem areas.

Types of golden makeup

Traditionally, the most stunning combinations for golden shades of cosmetics are:

  • black and gold makeup;
  • green and gold makeup;
  • brown and gold makeup.

Black and gold makeup is a classic make-up for social occasions, especially in combination with a black or bright red dress. The main nuance is the absence of sparkles, sequins and rhinestones on the dresses. Eye makeup is applied in the usual way, golden shadows are applied to the entire eyelid or to some part.

To make the eyes more expressive, eyelashes are shaded with black arrows and painted with black mascara. The look will be perfectly complemented by scarlet lipstick.

To create a green-gold makeup look under eye shadow, a foundation must be applied to cleansed skin. To give the eyes the desired shape, use a brown pencil to line the upper and lower eyelids.

The pencil line must be shaded to create a smooth transition. Paint the upper eyelid with golden eye shadow, and tint the lower and inner corner of the eye with light green shades of eye shadow.

Draw thin black arrows on the upper eyelid and apply black lengthening mascara to the eyelashes.

Brown-gold makeup is perfectly accentuated by lipstick in a rich wine, plum or red color. Nude lipstick will perfectly emphasize the naturalness of the lips and will be suitable in combination with light chocolate and gold shadows in any version - both for a party and for a social gathering.

Makeup accessories in gold tones

A golden manicure will be a good complement to golden makeup, especially when paired with beige or brown clothes. Such makeup will be effectively complemented by a toilet detail: a ring, an original pendant or some kind of shoe fittings. The main thing is that there should not be an excess of gold, so as not to turn the dazzling image into a New Year tree.

Summer 2018 trend: makeup with golden shadows

Golden shades are universal, as they are great for most occasions. Such shadows can add shine to the eyes, as well as visually open them up slightly. Read on and you will learn how to properly do makeup with golden eye shadow.

Gold makeup goes well not only with red and black, but also with brown, beige and green clothes. This makeup can be “worn” with items of clothing of any other color, since gold is universal and neutral.

Golden shadows will suit any eye shade! Gold on the eyelids will highlight blue eyes, making them colder and deeper. It will give gray eyes a noble shade, and gold can make brown eyes warmer. As for using golden shadows for green eyes, this is a completely win-win option - the eyes will look like two emeralds in an expensive frame.

But this doesn't mean that golden eyeshadow has no limitations. Makeup artists agree that golden shadows are the choice of the young. Unfortunately, golden shades can highlight wrinkles around the eyes. For this reason, women over forty-five should be extremely careful with golden eyeshadow, as it can add several years of wear on top.

Also, experts do not recommend the use of shimmering golden shadows for women and girls with drooping eyelids, especially in cases where the drooping is asymmetrical. Such a solution can emphasize this feature of the eyelids.

There are no other restrictions or warnings as such. Golden eye shadow can be used for both evening and daytime makeup. We invite you to take a closer look at these two makeup options:

Makeup with golden shadows for daytime

makeup with gold shadows

Bronze or gold eyeshadow is used to create nude makeup (“nude” means “transparent or “naked”). This makeup will be an ideal solution for daytime. The face will look attractive, fresh and natural. It will shine with purity, brilliance and health. When creating daytime makeup using golden shadows, it is advisable to combine them with beige or light brown shadows, peach or bronze powder and brown eyeliner. In principle, golden shades are rarely used “alone”. Most often they are combined with darker shades, allowing the shape of the eye to be shaped. Therefore, dark shadows are applied to the outer corners of the eyes. Light shadows (cream and white) are also used to color the inner corners. However, if desired, you can use only golden shadows, applying them to the entire moving eyelid in a thick layer, or shade them thoroughly, leaving only a faint hint of gold.

Evening makeup with golden shadows

When creating an evening makeup option, golden shadows are always combined with other shades. They are combined with dark gray, dark brown, black shadows and a fairly dark eyeliner. With such a set of tools and means, a “golden smokey eye” is created. Gold can also be safely combined with colored shadows - especially blue and green. You can apply a drop of pink on top of the golden shadows - this will make the golden makeup more “caramel” and “sweet.”

The choice of lipstick plays an important role in creating a complete look. When it comes to nude daytime makeup, it is better to opt for the appropriate style and choose a pale pink, beige or transparent lipstick. Also, nude lipsticks will look good with a golden smokey eye. They neutralize the richness and darkness of the makeup. If you used the technique of colored evening makeup, the color of the lipstick should be selected depending on the neighboring color. For example, if the eyes were painted with gold and purple shadows, the lips can be safely covered with purple lipstick.

We wish you successful experiments!

Makeup with golden shadows: video

The Christmas collections of the vast majority of brands are dedicated to noble gold. This means that we have no choice: we need to take and urgently introduce shimmering shadows, powder and lip gloss into our holiday makeup.

There is never too much gold, the art directors of makeup brands thought and simultaneously released precious makeup collections for the holidays. Metallic shine is more trendy than ever. And even if you're not ready for liquid gold lip gloss or luxurious gold-plated powder, you can modestly “gild your pen” with precious nail polishes, which can be found in the winter range of most brands from Dior to Seventeen. This gives us a sign: the gold rush has begun.

Meanwhile, many stars are in a fever every year. The regal Charlize Theron does not appear on the red carpet without golden eye shadow and transparent gold lip gloss. Before going out, Jennifer Lopez sprinkles herself with golden powder from head to toe. Well, Kim Kardashian, since she first tried on the image of Cleopatra, has not been able to get out of it, every now and then drawing arrows up to her eyebrows with gold eyeliner. Please note: all three of the above girls are not alike, but the gilding decorates them equally.

Gold has many varieties, from platinum to pink. There are the same number of shades of makeup products. Look for one that suits your skin.

The main advantage of golden makeup is that it suits everyone: it warms pale skin, shades dark skin, refreshes tired faces and gives a mischievous sparkle to the eyes. No wonder, according to the observations of Kate Lee, Gwyneth Paltrow’s personal makeup artist, working in Los Angeles, such products are the best choice for special occasions: “They create a radiant effect, not to mention the fact that they go perfectly with evening dresses, which, according to the latest trends, replete with sequins or made of gold fabrics.”

You should not use more than two gold remedies at the same time. Popular paired combinations: gold powder plus shadows, lip gloss and eyeliner, shadows and glitter. Gold nail polish, a popular hero of Christmas makeup collections, will complete the look.

With gold, as with any other bright makeup elements, you need to know when to stop. Otherwise, there is a risk of repeating the mistake of Emma Watson and her makeup artist. Memorable photos from the New York premiere of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” in July of the outgoing year spread across all the tabloids and news sites. Many still remember the eyelids of the young actress, as if filled with molten blackened gold. Maybe this makeup solution would look appropriate on someone, but such a coloring definitely doesn’t suit pale-faced Emma.

For advice on the correct use of gold funds, we turned to Alexey Molchanov, leading makeup artist at Lancome in Russia. If you follow his recommendations, there will definitely be no misfires with makeup:

  • 1 Gold makeup suits everyone, as long as you choose the right shades. The lighter your skin, the softer the nuances should be. The darker and more contrasting the appearance, the more intense the makeup products can be.
  • 2 For those who are hesitant to use gold for a full make-up, I can advise you to start with light shades of lip gloss or face shimmer.
  • 3 Gold lipstick is a product for the brave. I wouldn’t recommend it to girls with fair skin, but dark-skinned girls or those with golden skin tones can take the risk.
  • 4 Golden shadows, if, of course, they are chosen correctly, go well with bright red rich lipstick. Take a look at JLo and see for yourself.
  • 5 Gold shadows are easiest to combine with black outlines, as well as brown and chocolate shades - they are easier to mix. If you are confident in your shading art, feel free to try the option with olive shadows - it turns out very hot.
  • 6 In addition to lipstick and shadows, use shimmer for the skin. A similar one - Golden Hat powder - is in Lancome's Christmas makeup collection, which the brand created together with Kate Winslet.
  • 7 The main thing is to find your nuance and move forward. Adding an extra glow to your evening makeup never hurts.

This is a rather unusual and bold choice, which not every fashionista will make. This make-up is suitable exclusively for self-confident girls and women who are accustomed to being in the center of everyone's attention. The best makeup artists offer fashionistas golden eye makeup in several options.

Make-up using golden shadows will suit many female representatives, becoming an excellent addition to a luxurious outfit. Such cosmetics will make your eyes more open and your gaze more expressive.

Makeup in golden tones is suitable for owners of any eyes. Brown eyes will become warmer and richer, gray eyes will look noble, the depth of blue and blue eyes will increase, and green eyes will become even more attractive and bewitching. However, there is one nuance that should be taken into account when applying “golden” cosmetics to the face - it will emphasize all skin defects and make wrinkles more noticeable, so mature women need to be more careful when choosing and applying such cosmetics.

Black-gold and brown-gold makeup (with photo)

Black and gold eye makeup is considered an evening classic., it looks especially appropriate with a black or red outfit. The main condition when creating such a dazzling and shining image is that the outfit should not contain any sparkles or rhinestones.

Brown and gold makeup perfectly complements dark, rich lipstick. In this case, lipstick in wine, bright red and plum colors looks great. Nude color also goes well with gold, emphasizing the naturalness of the lips. Nude lipstick combined with dark brown gold eyeshadow is appropriate in any situation - at a business meeting, on a date, or at a special event. But rich red lipstick with golden shadows looks most advantageous when creating elegant evening looks.

Eye makeup with golden shadows is performed in the usual way. You can apply cosmetics to the entire eyelid or to individual areas, combining it with other colors, even the most unusual ones, for example, pink or purple. To make your look more expressive and your eyes wide open, you should shade them with black arrows and apply mascara to your eyelashes.

Green and gold eye makeup

Makeup artists also give the following useful tips for creating green and gold eye makeup:

  1. To ensure that cosmetics stay on the eyelids better and that glitter does not fall off, a base must be applied under the shadows to previously degreased skin.
  2. Before applying cosmetics to the skin, you should even out the tone of your face and disguise any existing defects using foundation and powder.
  3. By using brown eyeliner, you need to give your eyes the correct or desired shape. To do this, you need to carefully draw the upper and lower eyelids, outlining the eyeball with smooth lines. Particular attention should be paid to the corners of the eyes. Blend the pencil, making a soft and smooth transition.
  4. Apply golden glitter eyeshadow to the upper eyelid. Light green shadows on the lower eyelid and inner corner.
  5. Using black eyeliner, draw thin arrows and line the upper eyelid.
  6. Apply black mascara to your eyelashes, fluff them out, giving them volume. For these purposes, it is better to use lengthening mascara.

Do not forget to adhere to the main rule of successful make-up: Either the eyes or the lips should be bright. In this case, the eyes will be bright, so it is advisable to choose lipstick in natural, subdued tones.

Makeup with golden shadows for brown eyes (with photo)

Golden makeup for brown eyes is always relevant; this option is classic for brown-eyed beauties. It is golden shadows that emphasize the expressiveness of brown eyes as much as possible. When creating such a make-up, not one shade of cosmetics is used, but several at the same time, both from the same color palette and completely different ones, creating a bold contrast.

Makeup with golden shadows for brown eyes is performed in the following sequence:

  1. Cleansed facial skin is toned, creating a light natural effect.
  2. Next, you should move on to the eyebrows: if they are of the correct beautiful shape, then you just need to carefully comb them with a special brush. If you want to make them more expressive, you can use a dark brown, gray or black eyebrow pencil or shadow.
  3. After shaping your eyebrows, you can move on to applying eyeshadow. First, highlight the area under the eyebrows with a white or light yellow shade. The same shadows should be used to paint the inner corners of the eyes and connect the lines along the bridge of the nose.
  4. Golden shadows are applied to the center of the upper eyelid. They should be shaded well so that the color saturation towards the bridge of the nose is as pale as possible.
  5. Darker shadows are applied to the outer corner of the moving eyelid. This line is continued along the entire length of the fold. It is important that all transitions between shadow colors are as smooth as possible and completely unnoticeable. To do this, you need to shade them thoroughly. From the outer corner, you need to continue the dark line to the inner eyelid, then distribute the cosmetics evenly over the entire surface of the eyelid to the inner corner.
  6. At the next stage of creating makeup, the upper eyelid is lined using black eyeliner. Eyeliner can also be replaced with a black pencil. Instead of black eyeliner, they use dark brown, but then the makeup will no longer be so bright and attractive, it will become more faded. In any case, the line should be clear and even.
  7. Applying voluminous and lengthening mascara to the eyelashes is the finishing touch of this make-up. You can pre-curl your eyelashes with special curling irons.
  8. When choosing blush for this type of makeup, you should give preference to dark brown or light bronze colors. It is better to avoid pink and reddish tones, as they will be completely inappropriate.
  9. As for lipstick, given that the eyes are not too bright, the lips can be red, wine or dark brown. Lip cosmetics with a matte effect look best; glosses and pearlescent lipsticks will not add harmony and attractiveness to the image.

For brown eyes, makeup with golden shadows in the photo below:

Nude makeup with gold shadows for green eyes

Gold and bronze eyeshadows are ideal for green eyes. They are often used to create nude make-up - natural, light and discreet. This option would be a good choice for a daytime look.

Nude makeup with golden shadows for green eyes involves the use of light brown eyeliner rather than black. Golden eyeshadow goes well with beige eyeshadow and bronze peach powder. Very rarely, golden cosmetics for the eyelids are used without complementing other colors; they are combined with darker options, however, for daytime makeup for green eyes, only a golden shade can be applied. They can be applied in two ways: making a thin layer and carefully blending so that only a slight hint of gold remains, or, conversely, the eyelids are covered with a thick layer, emphasizing the dazzling shine.

An option for daytime golden makeup is shown here in the photo, which presents several makeup options for owners of green eyes:

When creating an evening make-up, golden eye makeup must be combined with other colors. For green eyes, all shades of green and brown are the right choice. You shouldn’t give up black eyeliner either; it’s this technique that makeup artists recommend using to give your look expressiveness. As a lipstick for an evening look, it is better to choose nude shades; they will smooth out the brightness of the eyes and make a woman’s appearance more harmonious and attractive.

Evening makeup with gold shadows for blue eyes

Blue-eyed girls already look bright and attractive, and correctly selected makeup will give their appearance even more expressiveness.

A good option is gold makeup for blue eyes, in which golden shadows are combined with blue and gray shades. Dark brown shades will also look harmonious with gold when creating makeup for those with blue eyes.

Lipstick for such a make-up should be discreet. Neutral pink cosmetics that look as natural as possible are suitable. Makeup with golden shadows for blue eyes when creating an evening make-up looks good when using dark gray, almost black eye makeup.

Lip makeup in golden tones: stylish options

Lip makeup in golden tones is suitable not only for fashion shows, but also for everyday life. However, with such a choice, you should be prepared for the fact that such a transformation may cause some surprise among others. If gold eye makeup is perceived as normal by most people, then gold on the lips looks somewhat extravagant and quite unusual.

Makeup artists use several options for applying golden lipstick to the lips. They can be completely covered in gold, creating a dense layer of glitter, or they can be made in the form of a gradient, combining with other lipstick colors. Lips look beautiful, the middle of which is painted gold, and bright lipstick is applied around the edges - red, purple, burgundy. Or, on the contrary, you can use gold only to outline the lips, and paint over the middle of them with rich lipstick, creating a pronounced contrast.

Almost every girl can wear golden makeup. It is able to highlight the beauty of the eyes by contrasting with their color. Gray eyes will look noble, brown ones will become warmer and richer, blue and blue eyes will gain shine and depth, and green eyes will sparkle with a unique emerald hue.

Who doesn't like gold?

There are also exceptions to the use of gold eye makeup. It can give age to a woman and visually increase wrinkles around the eyes, so older representatives of the fairer sex should use it with caution.

In addition, ladies with drooping eyelids should prefer a different option for applying cosmetics. This is explained by the fact that golden tones only enhance this feature of the girl. In the photo, asymmetry with the eyelids may even appear.

Otherwise, there are no barriers to choosing makeup in golden tones. You can paint your eyelids “gold” for a date, a business meeting, or for a walk. The main thing is to apply the shadows correctly so that the shine of the cosmetics itself cannot overshadow the brightness of the eyes.

Day and evening options

For daytime makeup, it is better to apply nude makeup, which allows you to draw attention to the face and looks natural. For this type of makeup, a contrast of a light golden tone with a darker one is suitable. This move will give you the opportunity to open your eyes and add expressiveness. The option of applying only the golden tone of the shadows is not excluded, then the emphasis will be placed exclusively on gold.

In the evening, golden shadows must be combined. These can be shadows of darker colors or eyeliner. The golden shade will also harmonize perfectly with blue and green. To give a “caramel” look, pink shadows are also used on top of gold ones.

Choosing the right lipstick

The makeup ends, of course, with lipstick. Please note that the choice should fall on delicate tones of the cosmetic product, for example, beige, pinkish, light brown. In the evening you need to highlight your eyes, so we recommend giving preference to natural tones. If you chose gold eyeshadow in combination with purple, then the lipstick should be a purple shade; if there is a combination of gold and green on the eyelids, it is better to paint your lips with peach lipstick.

It is better not to use red lipstick at all, although Chanel’s makeup uses a crimson red color. But this option is not for everyone, because red lips can give an unhealthy look to the face and excessive vulgarity.

Our makeup artist Antonina Mazur prepared 2 master classes with step-by-step photos.

Black and gold evening eye makeup

In today's master class we will create bright golden makeup that will perfectly complement your evening look. Just like other shades, gold suits absolutely everyone. The main thing is to choose a color that suits you, since golden can also have a cold or warm undertone.

To create makeup you will need:

  • brown pencil;
  • black shadows;
  • golden pearlescent shadows in several shades;
  • black eyeliner;
  • highlighter with a golden hue;
  • Mascara;
  • black kajal;
  • makeup brushes.

Since we will be applying loose pearlescent shadows to the apple of the eyelid, it is best to cover the skin with a special shadow base or cream highlighter that has good durability. Apply foundation to your eyelids and face first.

For the black outer corner we will make a base from a pencil, which can also be replaced with cream shadows or eyeliner. Extend the outer corner with a pencil and slightly lift its end up above the actual corner. He will look towards his temple.

Shade the upper eyelid towards the head of the eyebrow,

lower to the ear. At the same time, we hold the brush at an acute angle, almost laying it on the eyelid.

We begin to decorate the eye with a golden glow. The master class uses 3 shades of golden crumbly eye shadow with mother-of-pearl. They are all different in saturation and we start with the lightest one, which we apply to the corner of the eye in a very intense layer, and then shade the borders.

We finish with the design of the upper eyelid, covering the remaining area up to the pencil with the last shade of golden. You can do makeup in one or two shades. Bring the golden border to the top fold.

We decorate the lower eyelid in the same way.

The entire border of the pencil and golden shadows must be covered with a layer of highlighter. This is necessary for good shading of black shadows. It is best to choose a highlighter with a golden hue and apply it with a fluffy brush.

We draw a black arrow along the upper eyelid with eyeliner and leave the end where the eyelashes end.

Now, using black shadows, we repeat all the detail that was done in pencil.

We work with a brush in the same directions. For now we leave the border a little clear.

We cover the black border of the shadows with a more intense layer of golden highlighter.

We refine the shading of the highlighter, making a light and beautiful haze. We follow all the initially specified lines.

We slightly emphasize the lower eyelid with black kajal, drawing out the mucous membrane. In the outer corner the color will be more saturated, and towards the middle of the eye we gradually dissolve the shade of the pencil. Additionally, you can draw the interlash row.

We paint the eyelashes an intense black color.

This is how easy it is to achieve beautiful golden makeup.

Golden-bronze makeup with an arrow

Today we will look at eye makeup in bronze tones with a delicate golden glow. This option will be similar to a smokey eye, but only with an active eyeliner and without an intensely colored lower eyelid. This look can be used both as a daytime and evening option.

To create this makeup you will need:

  • crumbly bronze and golden shadows;
  • light golden shadows;
  • brown pencil;
  • black eyeliner;
  • matte shadows to match skin color;

As usual, for professional makeup we properly prepare the skin of the eyelids. If necessary, use a makeup base, apply a thin layer of foundation and fix everything with matte shadows. Draw a beautiful eyebrow.

To get a more saturated shade of shadows, we will make a base from a brown pencil. It should not be too soft and must be stewed well. The top piece will be based on the wide arrow, but with some modifications.

From the outer corner of the eye we draw the tail of an arrow. It will set the direction for all makeup, so this line prolongs the lower mucous membrane.

Using a pencil, paint over the entire moving eyelid up to the upper fold and inner corner. In the middle above the eyeball we leave a place without a pencil. If you look at yourself in the mirror with your head level, then the outer iris of your eye will coincide with this bright place on the moving eyelid.

To work with a pencil, it is better to choose a synthetic brush. We blend the border along the fixed eyelid to the temple and hold the brush at an acute angle.

Lightly shade the border inside the part, but do not paint it completely.

Pick up a light golden shadow and apply the shading of the pencil only to the fixed eyelid and lightly go under the eyebrow with a half-empty brush.

Take a larger brush and bronze shadows. Their texture can be absolutely anything. First, apply the shadow in an intense layer from the extreme line of the arrow with a brush in a position at an acute angle and towards the head of the eyebrow.

Gradually fill the entire pencil shape with bronze shadows

and lightly blend this color into the light golden color that we applied along the edge. These shades will merge with each other and we will get a beautiful gradient.

Apply golden eyeshadow to the free space on the eyelid. If you accidentally apply bronze eyeshadow to this area, simply re-blend it with a tone brush so that the surface is tacky for applying the golden hue.

Draw an arrow along the upper eyelid

and move its tail along the lower border of the upper part.

Lightly cover the lower eyelid with a bronze shade,

and its shading is light golden. In this case, you can make the lower eyelid more or less saturated.

Coloring eyelashes

and we get a very beautiful golden-bronze makeup, which is very easy to do without any special skills.
