We knit ten rows to lift the foot (knitting needles No. 3). After this, for the upper part we make 12 loops, knitting at the end of each row the first of the set aside loops with the last loop of the upper part (11 times in total). You will get 34 loops.

We form the cuff. We knit 4 cm of fabric with knitting needles No. 3, and on knitting needles No. 2.5 we knit 2 cm, and then close the loops. We knit the cuff using knitting needles No. 2.5 with blue yarn. We cast on 10 loops on each knitting needle and knit the cuff with a 1x1 elastic band. Cuff width 7 cm (22 rows).

Next, we continue knitting on one knitting needle. We knit the toe - 18 rows. We alternate 2 rows of blue and light blue yarn. We start and end with blue. We make the edge loops with a braid: we knit the last loop of the row with a grandmother's purl, and we remove the first without knitting.

Let's move on to knitting the middle part of the booties. We need to attach the loops from the sides of the toe. We knit the next row with blue yarn. Please note that we want all the stitches on this row to be blue. Therefore, this time we do not remove the edge loop at the beginning of the row, but knit it.

Having knitted 10 loops of the middle part of the toe, we attached 9 loops of the left part. Insert the left knitting needle into the edge loop from back to front using both half loops.

And we knit the edge stitch.

So we lift 9 loops from the side. Total on the spoke we get 19 loops.

We knit the loops on the remaining knitting needles. On the right side of the toe we lift the loops in the same way.

So, let's start knitting the soles. We will knit from the toe to the heel, knit only 10 loops in the central part, attaching loops on the sides (19 loops on each side. We knit 9 loops of the central part, transfer the 10th loop to the right knitting needle without knitting, temporarily set aside the vacated knitting needle.
