Volumetric paper bunny applique. “Winter funny bunny” (Volume applique, group work for older children). Volumetric applique made from pieces of colored paper

Irina Draganova

If you only have 15 minutes of time, no more, you can do a small teamwork"Winter funny bunny".

Target:

1. Teach children to perform a volumetric applique from napkins and cotton wool.

2. Teach children tearing off a napkin, crush each piece and roll it into a ball.

3. Develop fine motor skills of the fingers

4. Develop children creative imagination

Material:

Colored cardboard, white paper hare blank, black velvet paper (for hare whiskers, napkins white, cotton wool, PVA glue.

Progress of the lesson:

Educator: Guys, I’ll tell you a riddle now, and you guess who it’s about!

Trembling in the bushes all day,

They scared him a little - he runs away.

Has a small height

And a very short tail.

Gray in summer, white in winter

So that no one eats it.

Children: Hare!

Educator: Right! Today we will do it with you funny winter bunny.

There are napkins on your table. We take them, tear off small pieces, then crush each piece and roll it into round balls.

Children work with napkins according to instructions.

Educator: And while you're rolling, I'll read you a poem about bunny:

It won't be long before trouble is in the forest,

But the hare is not a simpleton.

Know how to confuse your tracks -

The trail winds here and there,

Forward, backward and sideways.

Where the hare was, there is no hare - jump, jump!

Now let’s glue the lumps you made onto this one workpiece: paper outline of a hare. We coat the workpiece with glue and now glue each lump of napkin onto the silhouette of a hare, pressing it tightly together.

Children: glue lumps onto the workpiece (excluding tail, middle of ears and muzzle).

Educator: And we will make the muzzle, tail and middle of the ears fluffy - from cotton wool.

Children: begin "take away" pieces of cotton wool, glue the cotton wool onto the muzzle, tail, ears.

Educator: Look what a bunny we got! What else is he missing?

Children: He doesn't have a mustache.

Right! Let's glue on the mustache and eyebrows that I cut out especially for the bunny from black velvet paper!

The teacher draws the hare's mouth with a red felt-tip pen!

Now our bunny is ready! Look what we got winter, funny bunny!

That's what funny bunny!

Don't be afraid of us, runaway.

On crown - long ears,

White back, soft belly,

And behind bunnies- fluffy tail!

We won't offend you

Let's play with the bunny!

Applications made from colored paper have long been a traditional creative activity for children.

It allows you to develop skills in handling scissors, improve the work of children's hands and make the baby more careful. Every child will be able to make appliqués from colored paper with their own hands if they are given a feasible task.

So, the most affordable options for colored paper applique for children 4-5 years old can be:

Volumetric applications made of colored paper

Ladybugs. Cut out two red circles and a black semi-oval. Black dots are placed on the circles, after which one circle is glued exactly above the black semi-oval, and the second is bent in half and glued to the first circle. We complement the bug with toy eyes and antennae.

Materials for the “Ladybug” applique

We complement the bug with toy eyes and antennae.

Application "Ladybug"

Look at the video on how to make a ladybug applique using a different technique:

Application made from pieces of colored paper

Chanterelle. Cut out a triangle from a paper plate, and use a stapler to attach two triangles of orange cardboard to its round edge. Then cover the plate with pieces of orange thin colored paper.

Fill out the entire piece of paper.

Triangles are ears and circles are eyes

All that remains is to attach the round eyes - and the fox is ready!

Ice cream. We draw or cut out ice cream cups from colored paper in advance and glue round cupcake molds to them, like creme brulee balls. With these molds you can make other applications of dishes if you use them as plates.

Application "Ice cream"

Application made from colored paper using a template

Bunny. We cut out the ears, head and triangular nose of the bunny in advance according to the template, as well as a bush of grass behind which it will hide.

We assemble the picture on a sheet of white paper, glue all the details and animate the bunny with toy eyes.

Application "Bunny"

Polar bear. Using a template, we cut out a round body, a head with ears, a muzzle and paws of a bear from white paper.

Let's complete the necessary details. We cover a sheet of white cardboard with blue watercolor, creating a background.

Against this background, we assemble our bear and complement it with toy eyes.

Application "Polar Bear"

Multilayer applications made of colored paper

More complex, multi-layered paintings containing small details can be used as appliqués made of colored paper for children aged 5-6 years. Preschoolers are quite capable of creating characters such as:

Fish. We cut out a triangular fragment from a disposable plate, cover the remaining part with “scales” - semi-oval pieces of colored paper different color, which need to be superimposed, slightly overlapping each other. We attach the tail and fins with a stapler, and glue the eye. Ready!

Here is another fabulous fish with colored scales.

Dragonfly. From thin paper we cut out the body of a dragonfly with a head and eight multi-colored wings.

Glue it all to a white sheet, complement the image with mustaches and toy eyes.

Application "Dragonfly"

Application made of colored paper and disposable plate

Chicks in the nest. Glue half of a disposable paper plate to a sheet of cardboard. We cut out three oval figures of chicks from blue paper.

We cover the figures with lumps of crumpled thin blue paper, and the nest with decorative shavings.

All that remains is to glue the eyes and beaks of the chicks - and the applique is ready!

Craft “Chicks in the nest”

In the “autumn tree” applique, a disposable plate serves as the background.

Application "autumn tree"

Applications made of colored paper using a complex pattern

Girl in the rain. This application is based on working with complex templates, according to which you need to cut out an umbrella, boots, head, dress, hair and hands of a girl.

What needs to be cut out for the “Girl in the Rain” craft

We assemble the picture on a sheet of blue cardboard, gluing the parts one by one.

Application “Girl in the rain”

Combined applique made of colored paper

Chicken with an umbrella. This application also involves working with templates, but if it is difficult for children to cope with such a task, teachers or parents can prepare templates in advance.

Materials for crafts “Chicken”

We decorate the umbrella with pieces of translucent colored paper, which will make the image more interesting.

All that remains is to collect the picture.

Application “Chicken with an umbrella”

Volumetric applique made from pieces of colored paper

Flower. Cut out the outlines of a flower from a disposable plate or sheet of cardboard.

Cut small pieces of colored paper and roll them into lumps. One by one we glue the lumps onto the glue.

Carefully fill the entire space of the flower.

Application made of colored paper “Flower”

Another craft option is “sunflower”. Draw the outline of a sunflower on a piece of paper. Cut pieces of yellow and green paper.

Glue a black circle in the center. We begin to decorate the craft with pieces of paper. Before gluing the paper, crumple it a little - this will give the craft additional volume.

Sunflower applique made of colored paper.

Sunflower applique made of colored paper

Rainbow. It is made in much the same way as a flower: the child crumples colored paper and carefully places it in rows, observing the sequence of colors in the rainbow.

Application "Rainbow"

Using the 3D appliqué technique from colored paper, an autumn tree turns out to be very beautiful.

You can make a heart applique from pieces of red and pink paper. We use a heart made of cardboard as the basis.

We crumple the pieces a little and glue them to the base. The craft will look interesting if you alternate red and pink lumps.

Excellent appliques are obtained using the cutting technique. Small pieces of paper are glued tightly to one another using a thin stick.

This is an airplane that can be folded from pieces of paper using the cutting technique.

Instead of glue, small pieces of paper can be fixed to a plasticine base.

Flat applications from pieces of paper

The herringbone applique from colored paper is made in a very interesting technology. Pieces of thin tissue paper are glued onto triangular bases. In this case, the pieces can seal the edges of the Christmas trees and stick to one another. Only after this the triangular base is glued onto the pre-painted background.

Christmas tree applique made of colored paper

Straw man. The application is made using the mosaic technique. Glue the hat and head of the stuffed animal cut out according to the template to the sheet, and draw the contours of the body.

Materials for the “Straw Scarecrow” craft

The child’s task is to fill the body with pieces of colored paper, gluing them next to each other. In the same pieces yellow color lay out the hair and beard of the stuffed animal.

Sunset. We lay out sand and purple sunset with pieces of yellow color.

A small palm tree will complement the landscape.

Application "Sea" made of paper

Applique with quilling elements “heart”

Applications with elements of quilling or paper rolling look very impressive. In order to make an applique we will need colored paper, a pencil, scissors and glue.

We make notches about 1 cm wide on the paper and roll it into a roll. We cut the roll along the notches. We should get paper curls, the ends of which we fix with glue.

Glue the paper curls onto a pre-prepared base - a paper heart.

Decorate the curls with rolled green paper. The curls begin to resemble graceful roses framed by petals. We can do it interesting application using paper rolling technique.

Applications made of colored corrugated paper

Colored applique corrugated paper- "Vase with Flowers"

Application “Vase with flowers”

From colored corrugated paper and wire you can make a very impressive “Summer Meadow” applique postcard. The technique for making it is very unusual. We wrap corrugated paper several times around an easily bendable rod or wire. Fix the end of the paper with glue.

Squeeze the paper onto the wire. Cut off the excess wire and tuck the ends. We should get colored thick sausages.

"Sausages" made of corrugated paper

From these “sausages” we lay out an applique on paper.

You can make a very beautiful wall panel with yellow flowers from colored corrugated paper.

A paper plate is a great base for colorful appliqué. What do you think of the idea of making a carrot bed out of a paper plate?

Applique on a paper plate “bed with carrots”

Very beautiful applications are obtained if they are based on a background painted in watercolors.

Application and drawing “spring”

Using different techniques, and by combining ideas in your own way, you can create unique paintings that will become a real manifestation of children's talent.

This voluminous paper applique is suitable for children over 6 years old. And if you cut out all the elements of the applique yourself, then even a three-year-old master can make such a bunny. The hare applique will be a wonderful craft for Easter. Certainly, Easter Bunny– a traditional character rather of a Western holiday. But an interesting and simple three-dimensional appliqué figurine will be a good souvenir on Russian soil. However, you don’t have to tie the creation of crafts to Easter. A bunny is a bunny. Can be done with children all year round.
If you are going to make a complex craft, then pay attention to another
To work on the three-dimensional application “Hare” we will need double-sided colored paper in blue or gray. You can use white paper as a base, but then replace the white parts with some other color.

Stages of creating a three-dimensional application from paper “Hare”

First of all, you should print and cut out the template pieces.

Template for details of volumetric paper applique “Hare”.
Let's transfer the details of the hare's body onto blue or gray paper. This will be the basis of our application. We need to draw two parts - the back and the front. It is convenient to place the figure along the edge of the sheet - then the bottom of the stand will be guaranteed to be even.

We will transfer the remaining details onto white and pink paper, cut them out and paste them onto the body. All parts, except the tail, go to the front, and the tail to the back.

Using felt-tip pens, we will draw small details - the pupils of the eyes, nose, antennae, mouth.

Now we will cut out the two halves of our hare and glue the base stand on the sides so that we get an ellipse. The ears will try to close on their own, so there is no need to glue them together. But for beauty and reliability, let’s connect them satin ribbon. To make it very neat, you can tie it in advance and then glue it to the bunny.

Volumetric paper applique “Hare” for children from 6 years old.

Option to create paper crafts for Easter “Hare”

You can decorate a hare not only with applique. Having cut out the base body, you can invite the children to come up with their own hare. Moreover, even kids can do such a fantasy work! You can draw anything - after all, the hare is magical and festive. For this work, it is better to use white Whatman sheets for the base. Thin White paper during the drawing process it can become very wrinkled or “get wet” from felt-tip pens.

This is the flowered Easter bunny we got.

One of the favorite forest animals, the hero of many fairy tales, is the bunny. Children will be delighted applique "Bunny" in different variations. The simplest crafts turn out cute and do not require much labor from a teacher or parents.

About the age of the masters

All the work described here is suitable for children, starting from the middle group of kindergarten. Only the share of participation of an adult - a teacher or a parent, the complexity of the composition and the scope of the master's imagination can be different. It should be noted that such simple applications may be of interest not only to children, but also to adult creators. They can be turned into a card or a handmade design item.

Application from cotton pads

The easiest work to make is the “Bunny” applique made from cotton pads. To make it, you only need four cotton pads, two of which will turn into ears, paws and a bow, and two will become the body and head.

First, let's select the background. Since the bunny will be white, you need to place it on paper of contrasting color. A velvet background in green, blue or purple looks beautiful; if you don’t have velvet paper on hand, you can just take colored cardboard or thick colored paper of similar colors. Since the hares will be white, the winter background will look more realistic.

Now we take it, fold it in half and cut out parts along an arc that are similar in shape to paws. We use the remaining middle of the disk for a bow. We fold the other disk in half again and cut out a similar figure, but a little thinner - these are bunny ears. We bend the middle of the disk in half again, as shown in the figure, and cut it - these are two paws. Now we place all the blanks on a sheet of paper, if necessary we move them and can glue them. This can be done easily and safely using PVA glue. Let's add eyes and a nose from small pieces of colored paper.

From orange paper we cut out a triangle, shaped like a carrot, and slightly round the corners. Let's add a little green tops. Our vegetable is ready. We hand it into the hare's paws. It turned out to be a nice picture. If you put it in a frame and decorate it with an inscription, snow, or other interesting elements, you will get a real holiday gift.

Paper applique “Bunny” can easily be done according to the same scheme, but you will have to spend a little more time on the blanks. But here you can change the size of the hare figurine at your discretion.

Application "Bunny" in middle group kindergarten works out great, since it is the simplest of the proposed options. Other jobs require more perseverance and adult support.

Older children love to fantasize, and with the help of cotton pads they can put together different figures to make an applique. The photographs show several such examples.

Applique of circles of different diameters

You can also create more complex portraits of a handsome forest animal. For example, applique "Bunny" from circles of different diameters will require more labor to prepare templates. Here we will need circles of three diameters: take 3-2-1 cm. Cut out one large circle - the body, three medium ones - the head, ears, leg and three small ones - for the muzzle, tail and paw.

Cut two medium-sized circles in half. One part is superfluous, everything else goes into use.

We choose a background for the picture and lay out the blanks in accordance with the picture. We correct the placement and glue everything except the paw.

We make carrots according to the scheme described in the first craft. It will be placed under the hare's paw. We glue the paw with carrots last. Add thin strings of mustache. It’s unlikely to get by here without the help of a teacher or mother.

In the drawing and on the finished one applications "Bunny" there is clearly a big difference. The younger our creator, the less similar the results are to the diagram. But the picture will still come out cute.

Application made from oval blanks

You can come up with many options for compositions that are more free-form in form, but they become more complicated only in the preparatory part, the one that concerns adults, namely, preparing templates.

A very interesting and simple composition is obtained from cotton pads, slightly trimmed in oval shape. But this work is perhaps more suitable for making in a home workshop, as it has many assembly parts.

A black background for our application will unexpectedly look beautiful.

We need 4-5 cotton pads for the bunny itself and the snowdrifts. Colored paper for the manufacture of other parts.

First, prepare the cotton pads. We trim one a little, giving it a slightly oval shape - this is the body. We cut the disk for the head larger to get a more elongated oval.

We turn another disk into ears, bending it in half and cutting off a narrow sector in a straight line. We turn the remaining part into paws, cutting it into two halves and slightly rounding the corners.

Do not rush to throw away small scraps of disks. They will become snow in the picture.

The next couple of disks, cut in half, will turn into snowdrifts, but we will deal with this a little later.

The next element of our picture is a carrot applique for a bunny. There are no new designs here. The same elongated triangle of orange color with slightly rounded edges along the lower base, and a bunch of free-form green leaves from the corresponding paper.

We will also need a hare's foot of light blue or gray color - this is a circle with a diameter of about one and a half centimeters.

It remains to make two peas - one for the eye, the other for the nose. The diameter of the peas is 0.5-0.7 cm.

Herringbone applique

Now you need to take a strip of green paper to make. Fold the strip over the eye, bending it 4-5 times, cut out slightly elongated triangles. We reduce one a little by trimming it, it will become the top of the head. When assembling a forest beauty, you should not align its component parts too much; a slightly irregularly shaped tree looks more interesting.

The preparations are ready. All that remains is to place them on a piece of paper. Here you can let your child either place the figures according to a ready-made diagram, or you can allow your imagination to run wild, only suggesting the purpose of the parts.

After the picture is assembled, you can glue the elements into place using the same PVA glue.

The painting will look more complete if we place it on a light, larger sheet of paper or make a passe-partout frame in another way.

A little imagination

A few more simple fantasies on the theme of the applique “Bunny made of colored paper” can be seen in the pictures below. All work was completed by children under the guidance of adults - teachers, circle leaders, parents.

Application "Carrot"

The carrot applique for the bunny can be made in another way. This will be the carrot pocket. You can hide notes with wishes in it, for example, or a small souvenir, such as stickers, which children often collect. You will need a circle that matches the color of the paper. Let's cut it in half. A carrot will come out of each half. Now let's bend the semicircle, bending it into three equal parts, and glue the pocket.

You can paint black spots on the carrot or stick pieces of black thread to make the fruit more voluminous.

We roll the leaves from a circle of green paper, first bending it in half. Place the resulting semicircle with the curve towards you. With our right hand we bend a small part of the semicircle towards ourselves so that it lies on the main part. On the left we make a bend in the other direction, so that the tail of the bend peeks out from behind the main part. We glue the corner of the base obtained after folding to the paper, then glue the carrot itself onto it.

The result is a carrot pocket. You can make several such pockets. All children know that carrots are a bunny's dream; the better it is, the more happy the bunny is. Such a carrot can be an addition to any of the proposed “Bunny” applications, or it can become an independent craft.

Parting words to creators

Here we have considered only a few options for the simplest applications that can be turned into wonderful paintings made as a gift to parents in kindergarten or at home, opening the “Skillful Hands” workshop. Feel free to use your imagination, add additional elements and inscriptions to the pictures, and then they will turn into real designer gifts.
